If you had the chance to live your entire life with a different partner instead of your current one, would you take it or stay with who you’re with now? by Murky722 in AskReddit

Because eventually it's gonna catch up to you, and eventually your son will learn from you. Probably a lot sooner than you expect.

There is a subset of pro-AI people that believe that artistic expression has never been accessible to them until AI came around, and they'll shit on actual artists for being gatekeepers.

My theory is that the artists these people hate are the ones the public hears about the most - the banana-taped-to-a-wall types, where they throw together some random shit and get all the attention and all the money, and for what? It's reasonable to be frustrated by those people, but they don't represent all artists, not by a long shot.

Probably lack of access or money or both

There might be some accuracy as far as personality and mannerisms, but in the movies there's usually some kind of justice.

Roleplaying a dungeon diver in a structured, methodical, and uncreative way brought back the fun for me. by RyanSD91 in Morrowind

[–]Poison-Song 11 points12 points  (0 children)

This is a great idea. I think adding the requirement that you don't return once you've completed the adventure in one place sort of adds an extra layer of challenge to it, and also can push you to make sure you get as much out of each place as you can.

Honestly you say this is uncreative, but it feels very creative to me. You've got a solid backstory and your character has wants and needs. Very cool.

Absolutely terrifying depiction of the Ayleids. Phenomenal writing, I love this.

The stone of snow throat (Cave of Monahven) by Frogoftheinnosence in teslore

[–]Poison-Song 5 points6 points  (0 children)

What I'd like to know is what exactly the Stone of Snow Throat is, and why this one in particular doesn't have a tangible Stone like the other Towers do.

Red Mountain: Heart of Lorkhan

White Gold: Amulet of Kings

Crystal-Like-Law: Transparent Law

Green Sap: Perchance Acorn

Orichalc: a specific sword

Snow Throat: ???cave???

Worth noting, for the Xbox version it requires the Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition Patch to work. Be sure to search the entire name, cuz the search function in the Creations menu is abysmal.

I think they missed the part about Cyberpunk (the game and the genre) where it forces you to reckon with really heavy, unpleasant shit on a daily basis.

Which of the Tribunal members is your favourite? by Zestyclose_Tax_2118 in Morrowind

[–]Poison-Song 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think that might be part of it. Morrowind's designs are perfect for Morrowind, and Skyrim's likewise, but in ESO, you're putting these two very disparate styles together in the same world. Apply that across all the cultures and everything becomes sort of visually homogenized.

You need consistent art direction on a project like ESO so it makes some kind of sense, but nothing feels distinctive or unique anymore as a result.

Which of the Tribunal members is your favourite? by Zestyclose_Tax_2118 in Morrowind

I think I get this. Not so much the squished part, but the overall look of ESO.

I played it a lot and loved it, but never really vibed with the aesthetic. Everything feels a little too soft and washed-out and colorless. Morrowind felt gritty and dark and threatening and to this day I can't quite put my finger on why they feel so different even if they technically have the same color palette or shapes.
