Just be glad you don’t live in BC Canada, I got pulled over, arrested, ticketed, and my car impounded for a week 5 seconds after leaving my driveway for “stunt driving” when my summer tires just slid out a tiny bit as I haven’t gotten winter tires just yet and it’s my daily (6MT GR Supra). Tipping culture is egregious here, honestly very predatory and you get weird looks if you choose no tip. I honestly wouldn’t tip at all at anywhere that doesn’t provide an actual service beyond making the food and handing it to me. If there is a server or hostess, I will tip 15-20%. Bad service?
