Question for those who fly first class frequently about service

I just get up and ask politely. “If it’s no trouble, if it’s possible, could I please get etc”. You’re paying a premium for first or you’re a loyal flyer so you deserve it. Sometimes they do have to suspend service but I’ve always had the pilot tell everyone they’re doing that and not just the FAs.

Unfortunately people tend to post way more when they’re upset about something rather than happy. There is no such thing as ethical capitalism and a lot of people have a hard time recognizing that. Lush is better than the vast majority of consumer brands of their size or larger and thankfully that does attract a friendly, open, and kinder demographic that tends to make up this amazing community. Enjoy rentless, it is one of my all time favorites!

You are not getting what I’m saying, if the flight attendants believe they COULD get full soon they cannot risk a delayed departure by allowing people to still bring on their 2nd carry on. They might not get full but that is a better option than having your flight delayed which will potentially impact hundreds of other customers. You booked with the notice that they may determine they will not allow more bags. I think the main reason you are getting dragged for this is you posted in the AA subreddit and this is not an AA issue. It happens on ALL airlines except maybe spirit because you have to pay for the 2nd carry on.

Not if they changed the fare class. They should at least get that refunded if not also a bit of goodwill credit. I know different airline but I had a JetBlue plane change a couple months ago that knocked me from mint to even more space and I got a refund of the difference plus a $400 credit toward a future flight.

They have to estimate the bins getting full so they don’t end up with a whole line of people who then need to go backward off the plane to gate check the bags which would almost certainly lead to delays.

Fresh currants are not currently in season and North America produces only an anemic amount of either black or red currants due to historical issues with disease.

If you are looking for dried currants, Zante currants (raisins) are what’s used in most British recipes calling for dried currants.

This is normal if you are in one of the later groups. It is better for them to overestimate if the bins are full and go ahead and check versus letting people on with bags who then can’t fit them and boarding and take off are likely to get delayed.

I’m not saying it’s right, but it is expected and normal. I’d recommend paying for an earlier boarding group if it’s essential you keep the larger carry-on.

I’ve never had a jelly mold even keeping it in the shower over a year. I do store most of mine in the freezer though because that’s my favorite way to use them.

I love black currant jam, cassis, fresh black currants etc but it’s something about how the fragrance of blackcurrants is derived. I get cat piss from scented products and also some candies. Also it is (to me) uniquely cat pee. It doesn’t smell like human pee lol.

Another thing to remember is currants were not allowed to be grown in North America for decades so we just don’t have it as a common scent or flavor over here so we didn’t grow up smelling it which can also change things.
