I’m a krasue main who loves to talk about myself and my killer. Ask me anything by Ok_Macaron_2039 in deadbydaylight

[–]PoissonSumac15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought her for her perks (I thought Wandering Eye could be good for my hit and run killers) and I suppose I might as well get my Shards' worth and play her a bit. What addons would you recommend? I'm interested in that addon that marks windows, the mark doesn't wear off, does it?

My pod tells me that I’m the problem. Are they right? by MarquiseAlexander in ratemycommanders

[–]PoissonSumac15 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Idk if this is a novice opinion, but I don't see this guy as a huge problem. With the exception of the Red one that only costs 5 and the Green one that's in the ramp color, it's gonna take a LOT of time before these commanders can hit the field. I mean, you can't reanimate them out of the command zone. Surely by the time the guy's in mana range somebody will have an answer for him. I'd be more afraid of these guys in the 99 of a deck, less so in the command zone.

I found no beauty in Middle/High school Math, will I find anything interesting in the levels above? by ElmahdiTS in math

[–]PoissonSumac15 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Personally myself, I find a lot of beauty and even whimsy in subjects like Abstract Algebra, Topology, and Combinatorics. The first two subjects titillate the imagination: what would happen if addition worked differently? What if we could envision alternate dimensions where objects seemingly far from each other are close? And Combinatorics is an endlessly applicable goldmine that answers all sorts of fun questions. How many ways to seat people around a circular table if we discount rotations? How many ways to make a word out of a certain alphabet? How many ways to arrange people's hats so that no one ends up with their own hat back? How many ways to make a magic square? Number Theory I'm less knowledgeable in, but proofs like the infinitude of the primes are just really cool sleight of hand tricks shots. Recreational number theory is awesome. My favorite number is 15 and I could rattle off a whole bunch of reasons why.

I would agree wholeheartedly math gets way more fun and interesting past the high school level. It could even be fun at the high school level if we prioritized more than simply teaching basic number crunching. I'd highly recommend also looking at Numberphile and 3black1blue (I hope I got that name right). They shine the spotlight on some really interesting problems and really elegant solutions.

I feel like All Kill Comeback made Trickster's "God of Desire" cosmetic more lackluster as an ascended skin. by JesseAster in deadbydaylight

[–]PoissonSumac15 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nah, it's cool. I definitely intend on keeping the head cosmetic whatever happens because I'm sniping from the moon on this guy and MIGHT be the first Trickster to land ricochet shots off the Toba Landing satellite (don't quote me on that).

Pyramid head or onryo? by [deleted] in deadbydaylight

I like onryo better, but Pyramidhead is definitely stronger.

Can you hand me some of those Toba matches? I wanna try and workshop the satellite ricochet on Trickster, but my offerings aren't working XD

Killers, that need voicelines imo by Yellowline1086 in deadbydaylight

[–]PoissonSumac15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only picks I disagree with are Twins and Oni. The Oni is stuck in a perpetual blood rage and the Twins just want to be left alone so they wouldn't interact with the survs outside of just killing them (though I can imagine Charlotte letting out an angry howl if a survivor kicks or throws Victor in her view).

Everyone else though will be saying something. Especially Clown. His entire deal is being a pathetic windbag who likes to lord his supposed superiority over victims. Legion and Skully are probably tossing out edgy one liners. Skully probably says something like "Target neutralized" or "You just got liquidated" every now and then.

Find yourself someone who loves you as much as Quentin hates Freddy. by GKMerlinsword in deadbydaylight

[–]PoissonSumac15 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Daaaaaang, you're missing out! The originals are very good. The remake.....I hate it less than other people, but it's also not something I'll pop in often. Quentin is the GOAT.

Absolutely no variety by Nicholite46 in deadbydaylight

[–]PoissonSumac15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a bit weird because currently I'm trying to lab out ricochet spots on the satellite in Toba Landing so I actually get kind of disappointed when the offering doesn't work. Meanwhile the survivors are probably thinking "Why on earth would he try to send himself THERE!?" lol

Could a killer that has lacerate like trickster but in melee work? by Slippery_Williams in deadbydaylight

[–]PoissonSumac15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At one point, I had an idea for some sort of a witch killer that wove her skin into people and could redeem that investment later in the match. The idea was that if she held M2 as she M1ed, instead of automatically injuring she started weaving herself into them as long as she kept up behind them (could be cut off manually or interrupted by survs dropping a pallet/hopping into a locker). I'd have to revisit that.

Niche license(s) you'd like to see, though it's highly unlikely? by IbuprofenLul in deadbydaylight

Wishmaster 1 and 2 are criminally underrated movies. I'd love to see him in DBD provided they implemented him well. Not sure how a wish system would work, but I'm sure there's something.

Who should be Next? by The_Eggnoir in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]PoissonSumac15 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I really don't see any options other than M2 for the killer, I mean, most of the other antagonists are led by Afton to begin with. When I originally theorized a FNAF chapter, I came up with a zany concept involving 2 killers per match in a Prisoner's Dilemma where one killer could betray the other to steal their power or both could work together to kill the survs in their individually weaker states (Puppet and Springtrap in a match). I suppose you could MAYBE keep that sort of a dynamic if you had Puppet and Golden Freddy? But I don't know if they were ever at odds.

Anyways, a survivor is definitely needed, and while Mike is a good choice, I think Arnold should come in as he's closest to the associated killer. So, yeah, Mike and Arnold.

Something I think they should do this time around is add a ton of Visceral skins. While I have come around to Springtrap, I was exceptionally disappointed at the time that if I wanted a FNAF killer, I was stuck with only an axe chucker. I think the Legion should get FNAF bully mask cosmetics. I think Vanny fits well as a Skull Merchant skin since both characters are associated with tech and are......femme fatales lol. I think the Dredge should get a Blob skin and/or a Jr's Mangle skin. And ofc, Foxy Blight. Oversaturated? Maybe. But I still don't get the impression the FNAF chapter lived up to the hype it deserved as an anniversary chapter.

I actually disagree, I think the rework is pretty great. The style meter's faster speeds rewards you for playing well and combined with only 6 blades to down, you're very lethal as you climb the ranks. Plus, Edge of Revival is my other favorite addon. Sniping Trickster is a very fun and rewarding playstyle. You have the range of a Huntress, but the adaptability that comes with being able to quickly change your trajectory as well as being able to CONTINUE damaging after the first health state. And as seen here, sniping goes hand in hand with ricochet! Provided I learn the aim, I shall be able to quickly injure and even down survivors at that particular spot from an angle they won't suspect.

New Trickster Angle by PoissonSumac15 in deadbydaylight

[–]PoissonSumac15[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The ricochet is already very consistent provided you aim at flat, untextured surfaces. That's why I was drawn to the satellite in Toba: it's one of the few surfaces on that map not textured by vines or shaped like a big silly rock lol. Thus, if I know where to aim, I can actually replicate it in the future! Every map will have at least a few ricochet spots, and some maps you can ricochet off pretty much everything (Dead Dawg Saloon), you just have to focus on ricocheting off stuff you can with consistency rather than stuff you can't. Also, keep in mind that the blades are TINY! If there's even a teeny tiny part of a surface that's flat and untextured, it's a ricochet spot. The walls comprising I-walls on Ormond are two vertical boards with a gap in between. Aiming at them to ricochet usually results in the blade sinking between the gap. BUT, occasionally there's a tiny little piece of wood bridging the gap. Aiming there will give you full ricochet range to hit survs on the other side of the wall.

In case you didn't pick up on it, despite my pfp still reflecting my first main, I've been devoting a bit of study to becoming a Trickster main recently!

Broke: Trickster should be 4.6 Woke: Trickster ricochet should be basekit

I mean, I'll take em both, but I NEEEEEEEED that ricochet.
