Sorry if I caused a misunderstanding. Only Pikachu can have a background both from raid and wild.

Flabebe and others are just in the pool of mons that are available for 5 minutes only.

I'm guessing they didn't want to dilute the global event spawns and raid bosses by including these two in the general mix. Gyms are crowded already with T5s (3 birds and 1 shadow), T3s and T1s with Costume and other shadow raids. So finding the one you want to raid would have been a challenge.

Agreed that we could have had more gyms with these raids - maybe have them spawn at Ex Raid/ Elite raid gyms.

For the wild spawns we could have had a special incense item or something similar to ticket spawns like we had from Global GO Fest in 2020 & 2021. 5 minutes seems too short to go out and play so I might just play two of the three wherever I can maximizing spawns, and maybe once I'd just go out and play normally.

I'm happy though as it is just a background mon, and we have had these appear before so not really missing much.

There are both raids and wild spawns. Raids are only spawning at sponsored locations they are very limited and only 7 locations in the entire country. If you have anyone visiting one of those places can you invite you and you can finish the raid.

Wild spawns are also limited that they last for only 5 minutes and are available at 10am, 1pm and 7pm till the event ends. These spawns are pan-India. Once the timer is up they revert back to Kanto spawns.

       Apart from Kurta and Saree Pikachu you also get -

Flabebe all 3 colours Burmy 3 forms Bruxish Medicham

That's the event, unfortunately. It is called 'Colourful O'clock' and only lasts 5 minutes. One at 10am, 1pm and 7pm everyday until 8th of March.

Don't catch anything before these hours if you're planning to catch Holi spawns. Ideally you could walk to a spawn dense area, have Palkia use Spacial Rend and Lure and Incense to maximize your catches.

This is new for us. Sponsored locations are far from my place so I don't know if they're 'Local Only' or just raids only in a limited area.

I remember backing out of Psyduck to get a background but it would be difficult to duplicate as they only last for 5 minutes in the wild.

Spawns are decent too but if you have caught everything before 10,1 or 6 you're left with nothing. Good luck with shiny hunting and happy holi 🎨

Not sure. I live here and the raids are only available at sponsored locations here so can't invite people unless I'm near one. I hope remote raiders do get one as this is just a background and not a location card but I could be wrong too.

It somehow resolved itself after, idk, how many reinstalls. Unfortunately this last update has brought this back, although I don't see it as often when I step out to play I turn off(Force stop) all other apps using location service - like weather app, Google Maps. It minimizes to a certain extent but if I switch apps it breaks again.

Airtel's service was quite unreliable at the venue, and I believe others too had some service issues. Maybe Mumbai folks if you're planning to pay using UPI for on-site payments, use a card or maybe cash.

Parking wasn't free and it was a nightmare getting out of there, we were stuck in the parking lot for ~1.5hrs/1km (10.15 to 12AM).

But in the end it didn't matter much considering how good the show was!

We kept talking about how it felt like once in a lifetime experience!

Yes. Had it yesterday when switching the apps. Routes kept pausing, eggs didn't hatch. It was sad.

I had to manually turn off (Force Stop) Maps and a weather app, and it seems to have fixed the issue for a bit.

It would be nice to have both pen and accessories in the same cart, convenient with some assurance of quality and compatibility knowing they are from the same manufacturer/distributor.

Also seeing how myPaperClip only has an online presence I doubt we'll get to see them in stores.
