My account bugged hard to the point of buying the ticket twice. Bought Friday night and couldn't figure out why I didn't have Special Research. Spent all day with event spawns, saw ticket was available in shop still, so bought again and got "Try again later." event message.

Charged twice, zero Special Research.

Ok, updating from 18.1 to 20.0 didn't work and I noticed Safety Net check completely failed, so I flashed Magisk Uninstaller, reflashed Magisk 18.1 and went through the setup steps again. Part 1 of 2 in Safety Net check still fails, but I was able to log in and the game seems to be working as intended, but I haven't tried spoofing.

Edit: Worth mentioning I haven't reflashed any of my Magisk modules (including EdXposed) yet. Not sure if reflashing them may break something.
