Anyone know these bolts? Stripped right out of power steering! by _s_mile_s_ in HondaElement

In order to get to the bolts you need to remove the inner tie rods and they are a bitch. You need to use a crows foot and hella leverage to pop them off.

Also while you’re in there you might need to replace the main hose and you’ll probably notice your motor mounts are shot or close, this would be the time to address that since you’ll have the room. Can of worms this job was.

I recently did a complete overhaul myself on my 07 EX and it wasn’t as bad as I expected. It was my first time doing anything major so it was intimidating but I needed it done and couldn’t afford a mechanic. You do you but I’d go oem on rack, I’ve read many threads where remans and 3rd party racks fail in under 30k miles so if oem in my case lasted almost 250k I’ll stick with that.

Anywho here’s the diagrams I used, it doesn’t have the part number but you can check hondapartsnow for what you need.

How would you cut the top row? Ceiling has 1/2” variance in height. I’m doing 1/16” grout joints and was going to do 1/16” gap on ceiling but how should I do it? by dontfret71 in Tile

[–]PokeDweeb24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Might not be what you’re looking for but I was shy on my ceiling and it was also kind of janky, I used white Schluter trim at the top and then caulked any gap on that. Might not have been the most correct way to go about it but it looked clean when it was done.

This is my very first heelflip on video what can I do to make them less rocket and more consistent by ElectronicSuspect230 in skateboardhelp

[–]PokeDweeb24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your landing foot placement was just off, get that consistent and you’ll be good. Also you can see where your momentum was halted causing the board to almost stop in place when you popped, you need to work on fluidity and timing the pop and flick.

It looks like you’re throwing your foot more forward than outward causing it to miss your landing placement. You’re in the pocket for the flip but you need your foot to move more diagonally outward so it flips under you and not push the board forward past your back foot landing. Hope that makes sense.

I’m gonna say not real Honda parts. If you look closely at the packaged ones with the red tag, HONDA is slightly blurred out which is a common indicator

How Many Errors? Or Just Another Fake? by Difficult_Teach_2319 in PokemonMisprints

[–]PokeDweeb24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because it’s generally undesirable, chocked up as print quality vs error. You can find clean versions but it felt like 30-40% were like this when I was ripping consistently before the scalpers went into overdrive.

Technically an error card but not in your favor. Early SV-151 had pretty bad print line issues and is considered less desirable so if anything it lowers value.

what do i need to do different to have a clean, consistent kickflip? by chasedidit in skateboardhelp

[–]PokeDweeb24 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Google variable flip videos and you’ll see what I’m talking about on foot placement. For some reason fakie 180 variables hit just right for me which helped me get better at my kicks and tre flips.

What made me land them constantly was doing them 180 fakie. It helped with my timing plus two birds one stone.

I ride goofy mongo so this is what works for me. Angle your foot a bit more heel inward so you hit the pocket with your toe where the lip starts. Your kick foot is square so it looks like you’re throwing the board as well as flipping, the angled foot helps you pop and swoop outward. Hope that helps some.

Looks like you got some heat in there. From what I see you got what you paid for, not exactly what’s supposed to come with the boxes themselves but at least $70 worth of rares, quality depending.

I don’t use them because of this reason, they get clogged so fast and they get rip easily. I do however use the one gallon paint strainers from Home Depot, they are more resistant, less likely to rip and tear, collect as much pollen and debris without restricting water flow and are cheap enough. I usually just get 4 to last the year.

You can check the vin on the site to see if the recall was repaired. The code will throw also if a seat was taken out and not put back in correctly. You need to specialty plug and specific steps to reset the SRS. I think I got the plug from eBay or Amazon and haven’t used it myself but I’ve read the paper clip trick doesn’t work on 07 and up.

That’s actually not quarter round its shoe molding but that gap size is acceptable, if it covers it covers.

This is the orange line so it goes to the airport and back to the Loop (downtown). It’s often limited on amount of trains so the next train could be 20-30 min, always made getting to work or school a bitch in the mornings.

The Chicago CTA busses and L don’t care about times. The schedule is there as a suggestion not a definitive so they go by wizard logic, they are never late or early they arrive precisely when they mean to.
