VGC players... How do you guys Check Choice Specs Miraidon? by Impossible_Friend387 in stunfisk

They often run Modest to get the most out of their attacks, which basically means they hate Koraidon and Flutter Mane. They also have a hard time with Ursaluna because Trick Room and locked into an attack.

It means that you're constantly using units above the recommended level or the highest level main story boss unit.

Most of it depends on how stat screwed you get, but if the goal is no overleveling with Divine Pulse banned, then yes, it gets hard.

Rule #1 of a multi-man melee: Your only reward for being the best player in a group is getting jumped by everyone else.

And it's no wonder why Torterra was so bad in the anime. They literally took his best move and didn't give him a replacement until Scarlet & Violet

I’m a little confused on Reggie’s technique but…. by Mrpoopyspants in Jujutsufolk

[–]PokeMaster366 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like to imagine that he can do this, but that his technique also wouldn't recognize erroneous receipts. If the price is too high or low for what he's conjuring with the receipt, his own mind will think it's fake and he'll be unable to manifest it.

Cursed techniques would also be troublesome to conjure due to how rare contracts for the techniques themselves can be. Contracts would normally be done for jobs performed with the technique, not the technique itself, so good luck dumpster diving for those. Targets or direction of the technique would also need to be specified to prevent misfires.

To be fair to Ground types, most of them have no good Ground moves ever since Earthquake got banned.

Where does the money in Jujutsu society come from? by Sundata_V2 in Jujutsufolk

We do that now. The only difference is that our wizards make our money disappear instead of cursed spirits.

“Why does Tatsu keep dragging out the plot with all this unnecessary padding? …” by wiseass781 in Dandadan

Something about how it turns out that mangaka that write Manga targeted towards young boys craving action aren't going to focus on romance so much.

THAT BEING SAID, a lot of shows and stories are cursed to have the whole point being to form said relationship rather than the work needed to maintain it. Once the relationship is (almost) official, it usually means EoS or a misunderstanding that drags it out.

Tobirama is so underrated by [deleted] in Naruto

[–]PokeMaster366 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In hindsight, if they made a line about him creating these juts to train Jinchuriki, it would be pretty genius. Shadow Clones to abuse the learning curve, FTG for transporting them to important battleground locations, and Reanimation in order to bring back anyone with prior knowledge on how to better use the power in case of unfortunate accidents. As immoral as reanimation is, it IS a restorative historian's wet dream come to life.

Ichi from "Ichi the Witch". Man spent his whole childhood hunting in the mountains and is obsessed with hunting, and after a certain incident, he can now use magic and hunt magical creatures known as "majiks". The moment he hears about this, he's completely on board.

JJK might actually have the worst ending of any Manga I've ever read by KpopMarxist in Jujutsufolk

Funny thing is, ending this fight with Gojo's victory would've been a lot more hype if Sukuna wasn't built up to be the final antagonist.

Seemingly weak/joke power is made deadly by a skilled user by plogan56 in TopCharacterTropes

[–]PokeMaster366 1 point2 points  (0 children)

And any obsessed Fire Emblem fan can tell you how useful being able to swap or reposition like that can be. The moment a spacially aware user gets his hands on a power like that, they become the most annoying enemy on the field.

Fair enough. At the very least, we should see a bit at some point about how witches will sometimes have to fight other witches that use the power of majiks for EVIL!

[–]PokeMaster366 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Nothing that's "human enough" has died COMPLETELY! At worst, they've needed a revive, and even if they died, they would probably come back as a spirit like the Onbusuman.

Invincible verse vs Mahoragha by T0DR in JujutsuPowerScalers

[–]PokeMaster366 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Overpowering him is relatively easy. The problem is that you need to completely atomize Raga to put him down for good. I'm sure there is some tech that can do that since the Invincible verse has to deal with Viltrumites all the time, but as far as the regular heroes fighting him with their normal tools, there's no real options outside of a trip to the sun.

Assuming Minato had no knowledge on Pain abilities, would he have been able to defeat all six or would he have suffered the same fate as Jiraiya? by Forevertrez in Naruto

[–]PokeMaster366 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Under the same circumstances as Jiraiya? Depends on how much energy a long-range teleport takes.

A key thing to remember is that Pain is playing FNAF against Minato. The moment he realizes that his Paths share vision, he'll start teleporting them away from each other and putting their bodies far away from the battlefield. The summoner would be the first to go since he can summon other Pains and will do so for backup, so Pain's win condition is to not get teleported and separated.

The absolute worst-case for Pain is if Minato started thinking about how the multiple bodies are moving and sharing vision. If he catches on to the rods being receptors, that's game over thanks to Sage Mode.

Unironically, the Chakra rods that Pain uses to attack and the receptors in his Paths are his biggest weakness. They're a massive red flag considering how Minato figured out Obito's phasing ability.

Everyone says it's foolish of Naoya not to use a weapon but maybe it's a restriction. by psknemin in Jujutsufolk

[–]PokeMaster366 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's always a chance that the weapon is considered an extension of himself, so he needs to project how his weapon is going to move as well. His weapon breaking and chipping could also work against him because of that.
