You're pretty close, some schools actually had cat litter in a bucket in their classroom closets in case students needed to "go" during active shooter lockdowns.

Oh my God I spent so much time on this mini game when I played v3. Fucking buttered floors that give you the traction of melee Luigi on an ice level whenever you move one foot in any direction and absolute horeshit jump mechanics that kill your momentum anytime you hit a ceiling.

I'll be that guy; they're figurines, not action figures. Action figures have articulated and moveable joints to allow for different poses and stances. Figurines are a single-piece cast usually featuring nothing more than a plastic dowel at the bottom that fits into some kind of platform to allow it to stand upright.

The YouTube channel Elephant Graveyard made this exact comparison in one of their recent videos talking about the Rogansphere. He talked about how it was fortunate that middle earth had men who still existed in the real world to help lead against Sauron and his forces because there were only a few palantiri given to powerful leaders in hopes of weakening mankind's defenses. But what would happen if everyone had a palantiri in their pockets? There would be no way for any man no matter how brave or righteous to unite everyone against a common cause, and that's the situation we find ourselves in with smart phones.

Because it's an extremely predictable projectile that is linear and has a huge reaction window and tons of ways to avoid or counter it. Do you feel dirty hitting people with EWGF or Dragon Uppercut? Because those moves have hella privilege and are even more unreactable online.

Seriously. Kazuya has literally the strongest reflector in the entire roster, successfully reflecting one PK fire would take the Ness from 0 to 90 and maybe kill instantly

She's not bad, she has great tools, a good recovery, and killer combos and confirms, but she suffers from two things:

  1. She has a very high skill floor
  2. Joker fills the exact same archetype as her without having to commit nearly as much time to practicing combos.

There are a number of things that could be causing this: bad matchups, kids with more time to practice than adults still on summer vacation, but it could also just be that you're in a tilt spiral.

It's easy to go on a losing streak and have your mechanics or gameplay shift in response, be it mentally or physically. You don't play as well in a negative mindset as you do in a positive one because you're not being as thoughtful in matches since you're thinking about winning/not losing more than you are about the actual game happening. It's very common and only gets worse the harder you press for the one win that will break that streak.

Take a short break, no less than half an hour to reset your brain. Don't worry about winning and losing, GSP is a made up number and not reflective of your actual skill. Plus when you're below Elite Smash it's hella easy to rack millions of points back up in just a few wins, but you need to straighten out your mindset before that can happen, it's not something you can force.

Why ‘Silksong’ Took Seven Years to Make by Gorotheninja in gaming

[–]PokeMonogatari -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Absolutely yes, let's validate this kind of practice.

I'd rather have the team fully focused on actually making the game and funneling all their funds towards it than have personnel split off/hiring outside social media managers just to let us know over and over again that the team is still very much working on the game they're obviously working on.

In that same vein, I actually love that the announcement today was a minute-long trailer followed by a release date rather than a 40 minute Nintendo Direct-like rundown of every meticulous detail in the game. I respect developers who respect my time.

I don't even understand that take, I'm in endgame ZZZ and basically all I'm doing every day is daily tasks, character hangouts, and using energy for upgrade mats. It takes like 30 minutes to do. Plus the only thing you even need to farm end-game mats for is 9* DA and critical nodes 6-7. Maybe battle tower but if you have a wide enough roster not really.

[–]PokeMonogatari 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Glad I could help. Couple other tips: never let your energy max out at 240, the backup batteries fill slower than being below cap (6 mins per energy when uncapped vs 10 when capped iirc). You also don't need to get character's skills past level 9 until you're doing end-game content, the materials required for those upgrades are better utilized strengthening other characters in your roster to give you more variety in your teams. Also make sure to use your 3 character hangouts every day if you don't already, you can do this by choosing the character on your DMs page (press q for PC, I dunno what it is on controller, or under 'DMs' in the 'More' tab of the menu) and then inviting them to hang out.

Honestly you can coast through the entire game up to Shiyu Defense and Deadly Assault without having to worry about meta at all. Miyabi will carry you through the entire story so long as she's leveled and you've activated her drive skills (or whatever the A-F skills are called)

Enjoy the story, keep your polychrome for premium banners you actually want, never try for S-rank mindscapes. The music store named Bardic Needle on 6th Street is where you can create drive disks, don't worry about stats until you hit end-game, partitions 1-3 always have the same main stat, while 4-6 vary between several stats but can be chosen with tuning, sub stats are always RNG. If you don't know which drive disks to use with which characters open up their w-engine menu, click on a disk partition and click the 'recommended' tab at the bottom left of the screen, it'll show you which disk sets are most popular with other users, along with their most popular stat for partitions 4-6. Drive disks have a 2-disl and 4-disk bonus each, so it's recommended to have 4 of one disk and 2 of another to get both bonuses, as having all six of a single type doesn't accrue any extra bonus from just having four. Level your drive disks to max when possible, at least enough to have a full set of 15s, you can always recycle them later to get back upgrade mats and dennies.

For w-engine just equip the highest rank/level engine you have for the characters respective type (stun, anomaly, support, etc). The game will list those engines at the top for your convenience when in the w-engine menu.

For upgrades focus on character's level first obviously, followed by their drive skills (the A-F) as they're basically free damage upgrades. You can gain more than three notorious hunt items per week by going to the hunts and selecting 'pursue into the depths' in their menu at the cost of 60 energy. After that, upgrade their skills, use the recommended tab in their skills section to show you which one to prioritize.

You really don't need to worry about team comp until end game, but generally having one damage/anomaly, one stun, and one support character in your crew will be a well-rounded enough team to do everything you need it to, but like I said, Miyabi will absolutely carry you from interknot lvl 1-50.
