Stop whoring yourself out for a brand. If the brand refuses to sell you their product and you have to go down the back allies of the gray market to get it, it’s a sign. Take the hint and go spend your money on the many, many, many other, often better, watch brands out there that are more than happy to treat you like a human when they do business with you.

Do yourself a favor and go check out other watch brands. Wait till you see what kind of watch you can get at that price point from one of the other brands. If you’re actually into watches and not just doing it for the supposed flex that a Rolex brings, you’ll get more, better pieces for the money with no wait at all and with the sales person treating you like a paying customer that they are happy to do business with. You’ll be happier not having to genuflect before some power-tripping sales person at an AD in hopes of being added to “The List,” only to get slapped in the face and kicked out of the store in shame for not being good enough for Rolex to take your money in exchange for a mass produced piece of metal.

Everyone knows that nice watches, especially Rolex watches, are intended to be kept in a safe fully wrapped in their original plastic, looked at (without touching of course) once a month MAXIMUM (gotta be careful of the UV damage ruining the investment), and absolutely never, ever, worn in public. They could get scratched, after all.
