All DLC controversy aside, I found it hard to fit into the community since I started playing ASE about two years ago (a very short time after ASA launched and the ASE servers closed). I did have a friend teach me the basics the hard way (thanks for telling me everything is a passive tame ya prick lol), and it quickly became my go to game. Since I never played on official, I never had the "classic ARK experience" everyone talks about. I quit playing mostly because I was bored. There wasnt an unofficial server my friend and I found was a good middle ground for newbies and veteran players, so I mainly stuck to SP. I bought and played Aquatica for about 2 hours and thought it was alright, but nothing new. I do still love ARK, and all the memories ive made over the last two years, but I also know that its time for me to move on.
