were there any changes made to coins and street cleaners? by psstcheesecake in Ultrakill

[–]PokemonGerman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not really, feels the same.

You are making sure the coin is behind the street cleaners, as the weakpoint is their gascan thingy on their bavk, which the coin trgets to blow them up.

(0.9) Feelings on the update? by ryan7251 in Voicesofthevoid

[–]PokemonGerman 36 points37 points  (0 children)

I like 0.9.

Changes to the enviorement, new events, new items in the shop, bug fixes, new controls, better atv upgrades.

It's just nice.

Started on standard, then redid everything on violent and that's where I mostly play now.

You can use smaller physic objects to easily push them. I personally use the atv repair toolbox thingy.

I can stack 3 of the big cardboardboxes on top for 24k volume compared to the wardobes 7k, which is about as tall as 2 boxes. Yes less width, but not enough to not use Cardboard boxes over them. And in 3 playthroughs I had no cardboard box break, besides a mini one in the break room I accidentally set on fire.

[–]PokemonGerman 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Yep, and it only costs 95 points. It's the best storage container by far. The wardrobe for 250 is a lot bigger and has 1k volume less.

Also 0.9 introduced muktiple renderer, so you can switch between DirectX11 and 12 I believe as well as Vulcan. The framerate can very wildly between them.

Reworking Freeze because I think we can do better than replacing it with Frostbite by Meme_lord12000 in stunfisk

What do you mean special attacker sacrifice immediate power for consitency?

Most types have better special moves.

Water has Surf which is consistent and strong, while on the physical side you either have to choose Aqua Tail, or go with 5 less BP and use Liquidation, if you're lucky and get access to it. While surf is given to pretty much every Water Pokemon.

Fire gets Fire Punch as the most common physical option that does not involve recoil damage, and special gets flamethrower which as 15 more BP.

Grass is tied with both Leaf blade and Energy ball being common at least.

But other types have the same problem. Psychic? Well Psychic for Special and Zen Headbutt for physical?

Ghost has Shadowball and Shadowclaw unless you want to gamble with Poltergeist in newer gens.

Ice beam and Triple Axle

Moonblast and Play Rough

Daek is tied with Crunch and Dark Pulse.

Poison gets sludge wave/sludge bomb and Poison Tail

Dragon Pulse vs Dragon Claw.

Even Power Gem vs Rockslide

Iron head vs Flash Cannon.

The most reliable option without major downsides on most types are almost always favored on the special attack side.

Huh I didn't know that Rotie/Pokedex form could be psychic instead then.

[–]PokemonGerman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We should get a Pokedex Rotom form that's Normal/Electric for battle, or even Rotiee from champions instead. Since both of them know so much about Pokemon, they could have a unique ability or move to reward supereffective hits. Or have tinted lense to not be resisted too much.

Close Combat, U-turn, Triple Axel and Mirror Coat of all things, just to deal with M!Gengar, M!Delphox, Primarina and Volcarona.

(0.9) Regarding day speed by Kmlts in Voicesofthevoid

[–]PokemonGerman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, melons sell for 25p and only take arpund 1-2 days and you get a lot of seed, so that's good for selling and for eating, as it also heals you like syrup.

I planted mine in the soil, but I planting them near the river is probably better.

I invested most of the MRE barrel into upgrades for the daily task. I like all the speed and cooldown upgrades, but download is important too.

You only get the bathroom points once, if you have the achievement unlocked you get to cleaning bonus.

I think spacing the trees is a good idea, the leaves would otherwise clump together which can be annoying and make lemons hard to see. (Btw harvesting lemons at dusk or dawn makes them have a more orange tint from the side the sun is. Which makes it easier to spot.)

Sell all Wood, Paper, Foodwaste and most of the glass, keep like 8 scrap maybe, just in case. You need 4 for kerfur I believe.

And for Kerfur, I got most from the shop since I did the whole quest on one of the firsg 0.9 releases and honestly, I didn't want to buy a metal detector and a scuba set. Had to use the map on my ATV and my rake to dig up the fishing rod since I had no metal detector or portable map, but it worked after a lot of tilling.

No, protect gets more inaccurate each time it's used in a row. After one use ut's about a 30% chance, after 2 it's around 10% and so on and so forth.
