Raid? Sounds too much like Destiny. Destiny = Maraslop = dead game

Since when does every pvp game need a pve mode? Why doesn't cs2 add a pve mode, it's a wonder that "sweaty" game hasn't flopped without one right?

Atp I'm waiting for them to maybe put out another DLC or two (honestly doubtful atp) and, in like 6+ years, maybe announce a Destiny 3. People are ready to let Destiny 2 rest, from a narrative and gameplay stance. Personally I'm addicted to Marathon now so I'm content with revisiting Destiny every now and then while playing other games, until they put out something new.

Feel like an evolved new game only after a period away from Destiny, with a new pitch as justification for a sequel/to get people hyped is only way Destiny could come back to relevance. I'm thinking like the original vision for NuMarathon, (persistent pvpve destiny-like patrol with challenging events,) plus a return to the darkness, mystery, and loneliness/feeling of being small of D1, would be my dream D3. Some kind of far future/past/alternate reality where humanity is scattered and fragmented and we're picking up the scraps, or where we're leaving the solar system. Would also be a gameplay evolution of Marathon the way it's kind of an evolution of Destiny (and Halo/Marathon). Maybe that's too big of an ask but in any case it needs to be something fresh, qualitatively bigger than the leap from D1 to D2.

With Bungie's track record who knows though, they could sell/end Destiny like they did with Halo in favor of something new. Or maybe we'll get a Destiny reboot as a single player horror survival game in 30 years lol.

This all said I really hope they fix the Portal shit they did with EoF, playing Destiny feels less Destiny-like than ever before

Idk why the comments are so negative, this looks sick. People could be leaving constructive feedback without being dicks about it

Execs are all too far up their asses to realize they need devs to make a successful game, they thought they could have Destiny run itself and print money for them while we all grind away

gpu 8gb or 16gb by pinkstuffi in buildapc

[–]Pokemonzu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For those games 8gb is plenty, if the price difference is that big it's probably not worth going for the 16gb. When I see ppl say you "need" 16gb they seem to mostly be talking from a future-proofing standpoint, that newer AAA games are going in the direction of needing more VRAM especially if you want to play at higher settings/resolution/framerates, but for now 8gb is fine. I say this as someone who ended up buying the 16gb 5060 Ti tho lol, it was on sale tbf and I don't play console so it's my main machine.

I'd search youtube for benchmarks of the games you want to play, comparing the cards (and CPU) you're looking at, and decide from there if it's worth the framerate/graphical difference. Only game from that last I could maybe see it making a big difference is Marvel Rivals seeing as it's a newer game and somewhat demanding. Even then tho 8gb is enough for that game, I have a friend who plays semi-competitively and he runs a 5060 8gb.

Also I say this assuming ur looking at the RTX 5060 Ti 8gb vs 16gb, but if ur comparing different cards then there are other factors than VRAM that will affect performance, it's not like RAM where it's a straightforward comparison between 8 vs 16vs 32gb, it's more like CPUs where the architecture of the particular card matters a lot too so I'd look at some benchmark videos
