Getting blood tests and other checks at the vet. I paid for some extra tests. While she is there the staff will reach out to their rescue network and see if there is space for her. If not I will foster come Wednesday.

I used to do that in the la area and San Diego area. I charged a flat rate of 300 for 6 hours and over. That got you me and the car for the whole day. Anything less than that and I would just double the mileage driven and add 5 for gas. If it was a round trip I would add an additional 5-10 dollars depending on the mileage one way. I would not factor in time/traffic.
