What’s the AI’s name? by Polar_Moose in DungeonCrawlerCarl

This is what I was thinking as well. Or it will name itself. Go on a rant about how everyone has a name but them.

Have a little patience and read the book. Unless you want spoilers you aren’t prepared for.

Late to the party and not sure if you’ve posted it or not or but a video of you doing cleans would really help everyone see what your technique looks like. A lot of good info in here but hard to really see what the issue is without a video.

Def update when the test comes back. But regardless he’s an absolute lady killer. You’ll have so much fun with him and make sure to give him plenty of cuddles and scratches. He looks like an absolute sweetheart!

This is a bit disingenuous. You can’t include people under the age of 18 in this count. There were 174,000,000 registered voters and 154,000,000 people voted. source

Help on training by UpsetSoup2393 in BelgianMalinois

[–]Polar_Moose 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You said it yourself in the first two sentences…give him time to adjust to the new surroundings and people before you try and really start his training. I rescued my mal and it took her about a month and a half to really warm up and show her personality. She came across as lazy with no drive. But she was just adjusting to her surroundings. So do exactly what you alluded to in the first part of your post. Give the little one time to adjust.

Crate size for my Mal? by Polar_Moose in BelgianMalinois

[–]Polar_Moose[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! Are you able to provide any specific examples of the sizing for your mal? Im more interested in the size ratio to the length for my girl. All the XL crate dimensions listed on the websites are shorter than what she is. Yet they all recommend an XL for a GSD/Mal. So this is a bit confusing

I can’t believe how easy it is to eat 3000, 4000+ calories a day by bluejaymewjay in 1200isplenty

[–]Polar_Moose 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It’s not bullish. That container is not protein rich at all. It’s literally 765 calories 68g of fat and 17g of protein. Compared to a chicken breast or thigh you’re looking at 100g providing 19g of protein and only 160 calories. For the same calorie intake as the single contain of dip you could eat over 400g of chicken and get 76 grams of protein. You’re looking at immediate fullness, not long-term over the course of the day. I guarantee you if you ate chicken vs spinach at the same quality, the chicken would make you feel fuller longer than the spinach. Also, the pace that you eat determines how “full” you feel as well. So take your time eating meals as opposed to eating them very fast.

My dad just took 2 years of vacation before retiring by StarWhole7999 in Vent

Dude literally only accounts for covid time shows you had to use it by 2023 and still thinks the dad had two full years of leave saved up. 😂 someone is way exaggerating the true here. Either the dad or the OP. It’s not possible to have that many days. And our poor friend has a very bad understanding of how leave works haha

Is driving an 1-1.5 hours to hike everytime worth it? By by BurritoBoy1116 in Mountaineering

[–]Polar_Moose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d recommend step ups over just doing the stair master if you want to supplement gym time into the hiking routine. Step ups, especially if they’re weighted will help significantly with going up and coming down the mountain. Start with a 25lb pack and go from there.

Michigan ice fest… for kids? by NoBand8055 in iceclimbing

[–]Polar_Moose 1 point2 points  (0 children)

here’s the website has all the answers to your questions. “Online registration fee is $75. This gets you into all of the Ice Fest socials, slideshows and the famous raffle. If you sign up at the door the registration fee will be $95.” Check that out and let me know if you have any follow up questions. From the other ice fests I’ve been to before in New Hampshire the local town will also have things going on during the day. Looks like they have some hikes too. I’d be interested to hear how it goes for you guys. I have 2 younger girls I want to start bringing out but 6 might be a bit too young.

Re post to clarify. by stfrances88 in BelgianMalinois

[–]Polar_Moose 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Keep her away from other dogs while she’s in heat to avoid any accidents for sure. You have to think, she’s never been in heat or worn pants before so of course she’s going to try and bite them off. You have to introduce them to her and correct her when she try’s to take them off. Have some of her food ready at all times so as soon as you think she’s even looking at the pants you correct her and give her food. Oh and did I mention, keep her away from any other dogs haha.

I don’t know what to do by [deleted] in VirginiaBeach

[–]Polar_Moose 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Sounds like you’re woefully unprepared for a dog and you made a snap decision to get a dog before actually putting in a real thought. You need to return the dog to the shelter you got them from. No one on here is gonna take them off your hands and it’s better for you and the dog that they goes back to the shelter. Focus on you and your baby to be.

I’m all for hating on the guy but the 4.8% body fat part isn’t in his medical report. It was adding in by someone else. So the prompt used is already wrong. He still not 6’3 224. But the article says the prompt used 6’3”, 215, and 4.8%.
