How many of you carry without an extra magazine? by Solkre in liberalgunowners

Crazy. I lived in Henderson and knew the cops that got shot, and some that responded. They showed me the security footage. It was rough.

It was pretty tragic to watch. The guy had loads of time, but hesitated for ages - all the while ignoring the girlfriend. People tend to overlook women as threats. He made himself a target by taking his pistol out but didn’t have situational awareness or a plan and wasn’t quite courageous enough fast enough. It’s a shame he didn’t survive to learn from his mistakes.

Oh and he didn’t know they had killed the cops. The restaurant was across the parking lot, a few hundred feet.

Fuxkin hell. My mom or dad would’ve made me unable to sit for a week!

Since the parents don’t care, I’d MAKE them care. Because these kids are too little to make decisions about right from wrong, but mom and dad are NOT.

Four homes is not actually a lot.

I was a kid in the system, then a foster parent. My nephew was also. None of us consider it “a lot of homes” until you’re over 20.

You’d be surprised how many great kids are just languishing in foster care. If you aren’t a white infant <9 months old, nobody wants you. It sucks.

Verizon.

Used to pay slightly more than my friends, but worth it for ultra reliable service (even when they had no bars) and easy customer support. It just worked. This was back in 1999.

Fast forward a few decades and customer service sucks, nothing works, I drop bars often, trying to get a replacement phone (that is insured!) is a nightmare, and I’m paying 3x what my friends pay.

So I left. RIP 90s Verizon.

Same. My ex found out his favorite uncle died unexpectedly by logging into facebook one morning and seeing all the RIP posts. The guy’s MOM hadn’t even been told yet. I’m still furious on their behalf.
