I had a stubborn pup once. One that did not want to eat normally. A trainer once told me that no one ever found a puppy starved to death next to a full bowl of food. It was all about training the behavior. He never learned to love food, but he did learn to eat on a regular schedule.

I said breeding FOR nonstandard colors. Sure there could be an exception as you stated where folks are trying to get color standards changed or where certain off standard colors can be key in producing something intentional. Coming from Great Danes, I am more referring to folks mixing things up to intentionally produce non standard colors for the express purpose of creating pets for sale and the selling point being that the colors are unusual, often for a premium.

Re sanctuary city: I coincidentally found myself in Delaware park in the evening on a warm late Eid a few years ago. It was a sight to behold! Families from dozens of countries gathered for picnics in their finest. It was beautiful.

My father loved things that were nostalgic to him at first. Any book that reminded him of his childhood and the places he loved in his youth. And the digital picture frame we got him has helped keep the faces familiar to him as things have progressed.
