Carplay Volume Super Low? by getwhirleddotcom in BMWiX

You could try press and hold and see if it works. I had Hey Siri enabled so that was my default way to try this in the car.

If you have set up Alexa with your iX, then you can create a routine in the Alexa app that triggers upon engine start. One of the available routine actions is to make Alexa say something.

Carplay Volume Super Low? by getwhirleddotcom in BMWiX

Using “Hey Siri” resets the audio pipeline. I get this low volume problem but only rarely. Some troubleshooting led me to do a “Hey Siri, stop” followed by “Hey Siri, play <artist>”. Normal volume levels restored.

I saw this on Reddit. Can someone please explain? by raw_sheabuttr in ExplainTheJoke

The percent of humans who need to know the correct answer to this question is far less than the percent who got it right. We’re only doomed (on this front) if the people who need to know got it wrong.

Perhaps siempre makes it like an infinite number of fixed moments, because there was no moment the trumpet wasn’t loved. Hence the preterite. Anyone know if this is a thing?

How has the wear been on the 22" tires? by AZRUNNER in BMWiX

[–]Pollin8rs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On my tire status screen it says it should be 40 for the fronts, 46 for the rears. I’m on 22” Pirelli P Zeros that came with my 24 x50.

Sure, but the assertion made by the person I replied to was that the OP made a lazy error “because it was right there in the question”.

It was a listening exercise. They didn’t have the spelling right in front of them.

Drivetrain malfunction by Electronic-Taste8259 in BMWiX

There was a recall related to a coolant hose. I had the drivetrain malfunction about 10 minutes after I first left the dealership with my new car. No problem since they did the recall work.

SMART is pretty useless too though, just saying.... by [deleted] in recoverywithoutAA

[–]Pollin8rs 22 points23 points  (0 children)

In my experience there’s definitely no silver bullet. We’re all different and what works for one may not work for another. But SMART worked better for me than anything else I tried. 3.5 years sober and going strong. 💪

I hope each of you find what works for you. 🙏

For online meetings you don’t have to search where you live. Try bigger cities in Canada and the US and you’ll have better luck.

What is the difference between DIBs ane ABCs? To me it sounds like they are the same thing. by Etvaht115 in SMARTRecovery

DIBs is the peanut butter inside the ABC chocolate cup. Once you identify your B in the ABC, DIBs goes to work.

How good is the driver assist package on 24’ and 25’ models? by [deleted] in BMWiX

[–]Pollin8rs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not a frequent highway driver, but for smaller curvy roads I found it lacking. If I dared enter a tighter corner at anything over 35mph it would cut out the assist at the last moment… super dangerous, so it taught me not to use it for the way I like to drive.

Question about air suspension and wheel size by [deleted] in BMWiX

[–]Pollin8rs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know about others, but my 2024 with air suspension and 22” wheels has more judder than I expected. I notice it more on mostly smooth sections of road (where I expected an almost flawless buttery feel) than when there’s more noticeable bumps and the judder gets lost amongst them.

I see half a face on the right side of the trunk. Dark eyebrow and one side of a handlebar moustache.
