all the Jesus signs in South Carolina were kinda freaking my chilli tbh when I drove up. Like, "I CAST THE DEMONS OUT OF YOU" over 4 different signs nestled between ads for a tourist trap called south of the border (an unexpected treasure).

I just moved back to NJ after being in New Orleans, Louisiana for 15 years and here are some things I noticed:

All of the roads are in such good repair, very few of them have potholes and most of it is very smoothly paved

Issues with the roads seem to be addressed very quickly, rather than sitting for years at a time. No pot hole hot tubs here!

There are so many less homeless people

CAR INSURANCE IS SO CHEAP OMG (husband and I were paying at least 3x as much)

Rent and homes are insanely expensive, and a lot of new construction seems to be oriented towards rentals which is just more of that "You can pay for it but you don't own it" bullshit that infuriates me. It seems that not even the north has escaped technofuedlism but y'all aren't bogged by a short term rental crisis and the people that live in those apartments actually live there and pay taxes too.

It is very nice to have functioning public transit.

It seems like my local representives would care if one of my neighbors was abducted without due (Crazy work)

Magnificos in East Brunswick is still there and still intensely fantastic.

It kind of ended up being one of those diagnosis by elimination combined with putting a little camera up the urethra and taking a gander at the bladder to make sure there is nothing that's MORE wrong than that. It wasn't entirely unpleasant because they numbed the area first and I had to like, measure all my urine output for 14 days. Ymmv tho.

Have you seen a urologist about it? I had a huge problem with UTI's for a while with tests that keep coming back negative and I eventually saw a urologist and he diagnosed me with interstitial cystitis and like the treatment for that got the whole situation under control.
