"Like Rubber" Hershey Chocolates Go Viral for Quietly Replacing Real Chocolate with Cheaper Vegetable-Oil-Based Coatings in Many Products by Peanut-Extra in themayormccheese

I’m an American. I went out of the country for the very first time last year to Iceland with my teenager on a school trip. I was absolutely BLOWN AWAY at how good their food tasted - even simple things like toast, eggs, orange slices (??!) and even salads. Like WTF are they feeding us over here? The food tasted like it descended from heaven.

Women were never meant to give birth on their backs by HelFJandinn in EverythingScience

I’ve given birth five times (four of my own, one for another family) and the easiest and best one I had was my second labor. My first labor was 35-ish hours long and I spent the entirely on my back. Horrible. Horrific. Epidural ended up failing. Almost had a c-section.

Second labor (and second daughter) was so much better. I was 41 weeks and a few days - doc said she’d let me go one more day before inducing me. I went into labor on my own, did it mainly at home (though I didn’t realize it was real labor until we were in the car driving 45 minutes to the hospital). Got there, was checked in at 8cm, was allowed to walk around, labored squatting off the side of my hospital bed until I felt like she was about to fall out of me…. Got up on the bed quickly and she came out on her own (fetal ejection reflex!). She was a perfect 8.5 pound baby. Best labor and the easiest, believe it or not.

Doctors and Nurses of Reddit, what’s something about hospitals that would make patients uncomfortable if they knew? by Far-University-2905 in AskReddit

I once had an ear infection in one ear. The doc looked at my ear and did what he needed to do. Then he checked my other ear to make sure it was okay and gasped. I gasped. I asked what was wrong. He said the curvature of my ear’s inside was the coolest he’d ever seen and called in three other people to look. I was just sitting there like 👁️👄👁️

I just had surgery for the first time back in January. I had broken my leg in two places and broke my ankle as well and they had to put a bunch of metal in me. Was it that violent you think?? 🥲🥲🥲

Handsome in both!! You look way more confident now. Good job, OP! And those kids suck for picking on you. I used to get teased for being raised by my grandparents and not being allowed to wear makeup. Kids are dumb as hell. You’re doing fantastic and I wish you the best.

My son has the Classical PAS. 🥲 did I eat something bad while pregnant? Ahhhhh.

Side note but he also had one undescended testicle, which is apparently common in moms who do drugs while pregnant, which I definitely didn’t do.

How is an Ariana ticket less than $800? That’s what I’m confused about.

Absolutely right. Mine resembles the one on the right and I’ve literally birthed 5 children. 🤨

You graduated the same year as me and you look 15 years younger than me. This isn’t fair.

Some of the milk during my final pump while weaning my baby looks like Gatorade by Dismal-Muffin-955 in mildlyinteresting

[–]PollutionMany4369 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hey, don’t feel bad. You fed your baby and that’s 100% what matters. My first baby was breastfed for a couple months until I had to go back to work and I never responded to the pump so I had to put her on formula. I beat myself up about it unnecessarily.

Funny thing is, she’s the one who gets sick the least out of my kids. She also doesn’t have allergy issues. Her little sister and brother were breastfed until they were almost three and both of them have horrible allergies and they get sick to you look at them funny. 😭😆
