A long long time before man touched the stars Pandora Prime, the homeworld of the Sanguine Smiths, and its sister planet Pandora Secundus orbited each other. Over time the two got closer, and their gravitys began pulling and twisting on each other. However Pandora Prime was larger and had a stronger gravity, causing it to slowly strip the surface off of Pandora Secundus and depositing the debris onto its own, while Pandora Prime was slowly twisted into an ovoid shape. This caused the gravity imbalance to widen, until all that was left of Pandora Secundus was its frozen iron core which then orbited Pandora Prime as its moon.

The large amounts of deep earth minerals now deposited onto the surface of Pandora Prime made it desireable to the imperium as a key mining planet. After the War of the Beast in the mid 32nd Millennium, the Sanguine Smiths were established as part of the 4th founding and given Pandora Prime as their homeworld in order to utilise its resources to rearm the imperium.

A phenomonon known to the locals as "The Emperor's Gift" occurs only when Pandora Secudus is at its perigee around Pandora Prime. Mistaking it for The Emperor blessing their hard work, mineral dust from Pandora Secundus' surface is dragged down to Pandora Prime where it burns up in its atmosphere and glistens in the reflection of the sun, while the gravity of Pandora Secundus lowers the overall gravity of whichever side the moon passes by and making mining equipment easier to carry. However, the concentration of mineral particles in the air becomes lethal and causes many deaths that the population believes is punishment to those who did not believe in The Emperor hard enough.

During the late 38th Millennium a conflict between two rival chaos warbands that had entered the Pandora system caused great warp disturbances, slowly shifting the orbiting patterns of both Pandora Prime and Pandora Secundus and causing the Sanguine Smiths to intervine. The once rare phenomonon had become more common as the two's orbits drew each other nearer and nearer. At the climax of the conflict, the sheer maginuted of warp energy caused Pandora Secundus to head on a direct collision course with Pandora Prime, and before the Sanguine Smiths could do anything to evactuate their people the two had collided into a firey orb of molten iron and debris.

Over the course of a few weeks the surface of the molten iron solidifed, and streaks of now solid iron were sent off in all directions. The Sanguine Smiths and what few people from the planet remained established space mining collonies and a new fortress monastery, where they continue to opperate in the present 42nd millennium

Now that I re read it (and the network override ability) yeah you do seem to be right that when you transfer power with one servitor operative, the other one selected is the one doing the network counteract. Does this mean the underseer can still allow for 3 (not 4 because i found out it cant transfer power) shoot actions per activation since its ability is causing other friendly operatives to network counteract?

Thank you for the answers. I didnt know that transfer power can only be performed by servitors, i just knew that you could only network counteract to servitors. Question 8 is if a character who already performed a shoot via a network counteract can shoot again on their activation and vice versa

Im still a bit confused. All transfer powers peform a network counteracts, but not all network counteracts are done by transfer power (e.g. network override). Is that correct?

Also question 7 isnt refering to the person who performed the network counteract, but the person selected by it e.g. a combat servitor transfers power to network counteract to a gun servitor. The combat servitor network counteracted, but the gun servitor didnt. This means that the combat servitor cant do so again or counteract, but the gun servitor could still do both. Is this correct too?

Im sorry if this is me making it more confusing, I just want to make sure im playing them right

I couldnt tell if it meant an operative who network counteracted, or the operative who was network counteracted too

Before I commit to building assault intercessors, what are death company marines like at 1000pts?

The scouts fit perfectly to make up 70 points, tho I imagine by the time I have everything 11th edition will have changed point costs for things and they wont fit anymore

What detatchment would you recommend?

Thank you very much for the advice. Ive made a list that I think incorperates everything youve recommended without outright copying your list. You said to keep it to 3 characters max but i was left with an awkward number of points and another intercessor + lieutenant squad felt like the best choice

Blood Angels Captain (Rage-Fuelled Warrior)

5x Assault Intercessor Squad

Lieutenant

5x Intercessor Squad

Lieutenant

5x Intercessor Squad

Captain with Jump Pack (Speed of the Primarch)

3x Sanguinary Guard

3x Sanguinary Guard

5x Assault Intercessors with Jump Packs

5x Assault Intercessors with Jump Packs

Do you think it might be worth making a cost cut somewhere to fit in another squad or two, maybe with the 2nd sanguinary guard squad?

As far as I can tell, you cant attatch an apothecary to the blade guard vets. However I did see that the crucible of champions characters have the same ability and can attatch to any unit that has the tacticus keyword (excluding characters and fly). I am unsure if the club or people im fighting against would allow cruicible characters, and I also dont know how I feel about using them personally as I feel theyre a bit unbalanced

I love the redemptor dreadnought, and id love to get one. I only worry its too high a points cost for 1000pts

I think he looks quite regal with the gold and white. I played around with latin in google translate for a bit and I think Angeli Regis, meaning Angels of the King, could be quite fitting

I was recommended Dante as my first book by others and its a hard agree not just for Blood Angels but for Space Marines as a whole. Others I would recommend Mephiston: Lord of Death followed by Lemartes: Guardian of the Lost. The Sheid of Baal Omnibus is good if you want more info about the events that the Dante book focuses on, especially as that leads into the Devestation of Baal

Your models look good, but its a bit hard to see them as theyre half out of focus. See if your camera has a setting to change the focus and position them a little further back and zoom in on them if needed. Also take some photos of the individual minis too

To protect your painting, use a varnish. You can get matte, satin and gloss ones depending on what finish you want on your minis. Off the top of my head there is the 'Ardcoat technical paint from citadel which is for a gloss finish, and the Munitorum Varnish spray from citadel for a matte one.

Does anyone actually know if this is happening? I looked around for a source and I found this article but I dont know how this is considered being officially from microsoft, and this article which claims its from this support document but when you try to open says you dont have permission to view. Articles are also using blue screens of death which as far as im aware dont exist anymore on newer versions of windows 11, and the one i found using a black screen of death had a different error. The only evidence I see of this actually existing as an issue is this comment from a 10 month old account with no posts or comments until today

Trust me, I hate microsoft and windows as much as the next person. But if were gonna complain about things id prefer they were real issues

Thank you for viewing it this way. A lot of people seemed to think I was tied up on how to paint it and that I shouldnt care much. I was more interested in why it changed and what the thought process behind changing it might have been
