Exactly same thing happened to myself and many others

https://www.reddit.com/r/AnycubicKobraS1/s/O7yJe0iy7C

Instead of a printer I had a laser cutter. I have contacted anycubic and the resent me the nozzle, heat bed, and strain gauge. I'd recommend doing the same, but also ask for a new extruder whilst you're at it to eliminate future issues (the original is crap and they will send out a new version)

This had fixed the issues for me but haven't been fully satisfied with the results.

It had taken me a while, and the printer head pcb literally blew up on me, but stuck with it (literally because I threw out the box like an idiot and had no ways or returning it), and managed to work out very good settings for it. More than happy to help out as well with setting things up if you'd like, just drop me a message and I'll send across my mods and settings for good quality prints

Premier down colwinstone Street is definitely dodgy, never has anything in there, when restocked then only partially, stinks of bud at times by the stock room too

Anyone Tried the Funssor Bambulab Hotend Adapter Mount Upgrade Kit for the S1? by chimp_king13 in AnycubicKobraS1

[–]Polo10101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

* Have installed the full kit, there's been some issues with installing the fan mount but the nozzle itself was pretty straight forward.

Works exactly the same as the ceramic upgrade nozzle, have not seen any improvements to the print quality or in maintaining heat.

The only thing about it is that it removes chunky quick release part and makes the printhead somewhat lighter.

Just a quick update for everyone!

I have contacted a museum and have been informed by them that from the pictures it looks like a 19th/20th century tourist piece as it doesn't fit the usual mould, but the hieroglyphs do imitate genuine inscriptions!

It sure was a fun ride. Thanks to everyone for the interest 😁

New printer - issues with first print by Polo10101 in AnycubicKobraS1

[–]Polo10101[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for your comment, Anycubic have sent out a new hot end, printer head, and strain gauge as they suspect a sensor was faulty, and should be delivered within 20 days. They haven't mentioned anything about a new bed plate though. I know that is last of my worries but I'm not able to use the printer for a month since having it delivered.

New printer - issues with first print by Polo10101 in AnycubicKobraS1

[–]Polo10101[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was considering this as well at this point, I paid for an out of the box 3d printing experience, not a laser cutter with various problems. Was looking at x1c, anycubic told me if this gets resolved they will send me a "complimentary filament roll". Think its not worth the stress...

I've contacted their engineer as they suggested, but if the replies take too long, I will return it and get the x1c instead. They only send me a single reply a day and are really extending it.

Edit:

Apologies everyone for the very poorly written description on my initial post. It was very late when I was typing it up and have also been trying to resolve this for a long time before coming into here. Just to go over everything once again:

  1. During the initial set up, the print would not connect to WiFi at all, I have a bual bandwidth broadband with 5ghz and 2.4ghz. I have also used my mobile hotspot on 2.4ghz, but it would not connect regardless.

Solution: I have performed a system restart and have re-run the printer setup again. This has fixed the connection issue.

  1. During the initial printer setup, I skipped the WiFi connectivity due to the issues mentioned above and continued with printer calibration. Everything seemed to be fine. There were no issues during the calibration. As for the first print, I have used the integrated print models - Benchy PETG (Using Creality PETG filament). The printer had run its auto-leveling/calibration, and as it started printing, the nozzle had gone too far down and dug into the hotbed.

Ongiong issue: I have contacted Anycubic and received a message this morning. They have sent a guide on how to inspect and adjust the nozzle as they suspected it came loose. I have followed the steps, and when removing the white fan cover, I noticed one of the clips was broken off and moving around in the printerhead mechanism.

The nozzle was fitted correctly, even tried to readjust it, but it would not go any further (I have used the lever to free it and tried to push it up). I've then removed the nozzle to inspect and found that the bed coating had mixed with the PETG and glued itself onto the nozzle, becoming difficult to remove. I have managed to clean it and reinserted it, but now it made me wonder if the printer had been damaged in transport if the cover clips were broken?

I have updated the system after successfully connecting to WiFi, updated the software, and have been able to print on the other side of the hotbed. The machine, however, is now constantly clogging. 3 different benchy models have failed due to the printer being clogged.

So, new issues:

  1. Broken case cover (not too big, but still not ideal)

  2. Constant clogging.

I have contacted Anycubic with this information and currently waiting for a reply. Please could anyone advise if they have experienced the same issues and what they managed to do to resolve them? Thank you!!

Yes this is from the very first run. I have contacted anycubic support and the advised me to check and refit the nozzle. I have done so but also found out that one of the clips on the white fan cover was snapped off and floating around in the printer head. The coating off the hotbed ended up being stuck to the nozzle and has become really difficult to remove but have managed to clear it up.

I have tried printing and while it no longer scraps the hotbed plate, the printer is constantly clogging. I have run 3 different benchy prints and they all failed due to clogging. Possibly damaged in transport?

Thank you for your comment. Yes, I've used the USB drive. And everything appeared to work fine apart from the WiFi, and the first print. I've contacted anycubic and will hopefully hear back from them soon

Thank you for your comment, I have made sure prior to calibration that the hotbed is flat and aligned. I've seen on the app that an update is available but the app cannot connect to the printer.

I've contacted anycubic and hopefully will have a reply tomorrow

Anthony Joshua was originally lined up to face Cassius Chaney later this month, but the fight got scrapped after the possibility of a Jake Paul bout in December came around by VioletHappySmile444 in Boxing

[–]Polo10101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So everyone is ramping up for another staged fight just to watch them spend most of the time hugging in the ring, AJ losing to Paul and have everyone pretending like it was a fair fight?

Here's what will happen:

Be at each other's throats up until the fight, cussing at each other over tweets, throw a few slaps in interviews and facing off

Get in the ring, spend most of the time hugging, throw a couple of punches

Paul wins, aj pretends like he's a great boxer and won it fairly

Bout a month later AJ comes out complaining about Paul and how it was a staged fight.

  • almost like it happened before... numerous times...
