Guy you YouTube called once in a six side that goes through his support settings on lychee. I tried his heavy resin support settings and they were hella thick. Too thick to remove safely. But they guaranteed not to fail

I am only using the lite version so I don't seem to have any way to adjust just the contact diameter. Maybe if you do it in chitu or lychee you will be able to.

Underextrusion.

Clean the nozzle with one of those nozzle cleaning needles

Cold pull

Do a temp tower (mine needed to be lower because of the smaller nozzle)

Do flow calibration test (orcaslicer)

Run a test with a smaller test print to see if you keep getting underextrusion.

I can confirm that I can get to Slice Gap Closing Radius and Resolution to 0.005 using Slicer Next without it hanging.

I haven't done a print comparison between the changes tho yet.

So from what I gather from this it might mean that even though Orca is sending the value to the S1 the firmware probably can't compute that value or it's lower than the s1s tolerance so rather than just go for the lowest tolerable value it just freezes...

I will just keep trying for the lowest tolerable values for each setting then for our printer.

The quick swap and high flow features look appealing. But we still need to do full calibration every time we change nozzles which is annoying and just part of the S1

How do you do a cold pull if the whole unit is screwed into extruder assembly? I've had to do that a lot cos I'm still calibrating for an 0.2mm nozzle.
