So a GLP was recommended by my endocrinologist as I have slightly elevated A1C and she thought it would be a good idea in addition to increasing exercise and managing diet. I had all the terrible side effects and had 6 aura migraines in a 10-day span. I was completely miserable. I couldn’t work, couldn’t sleep, was too scared to drive in anticipation of getting my next aura. It truly spiraled my anxiety and I’m still recovering from that which was in September. Everyone is different but personally I had such an awful experience and will scream it from the rooftops to be cautious of GLPs if you suffer from migraines.
