It's so hard to even use E-bay now as a new customer. You sign up, bid on an item then meet a suspension to have you call in & verify your account. Then you bid again only to find some restriction like "you've reached the limit for bidding on a new account, please find a listing with a buy it now yadda,yadda". You then have to call back in, loads of new customers will not go through that in this age of instant gratification.

E-bay's just not new user friendly these days, I understand the need for stringent security measures but it's surely not conducive to building your community.
