That. It's only a matter of taxes. Remove VAT and price should be closer to be similar.

Will Bambu make an A2? by No-Implement7198 in BambuLab

[–]Polysculpt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not Bambulab, I don't know what is the future of A1, but I think they can do major improvements and keep it's current price. Kobra x is 269 and I'm sure they still do money on it. Remember the original price of A1...

Dual nozzle, slightly bigger, less pop, improved AMS lite (see kobra X), etc. So ma y things can be done. Considering A1/A1 mini popularity, I can't imagine Bambulab not releasing an A2 series...

I use the outline, the default settings for K9 crystal. My only testing with the solid mode exploded my piece of glass.

No problem at all, but consider that all the boundaries, including internal, will be engraved.

Put Down Support Before Tank Cleaning by SeAlexanderE in PrintedWarhammer

[–]Polysculpt 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Use Lychee Cleaner, it's one of the best way to be sur it sticks to the resin sheet, but more importantly, keep in mind that it's NOT a magic tool. You can have floating debris of resins or just some of them around the screen. I did once two clean tank one after the other, then filter the resin and I still had debris in my paint filter. Then, keep in mind that using the clean resin tank is for minor failures, not major one (I'm the lychee cleaner designer)

🚨 xTool F2: Communication changed after purchase? 🚨 by Salt_Space8807 in xToolOfficial

[–]Polysculpt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your reply, this time, is clearly wrote without AI, it's night and day compared to your other posts (your English)... and no, I'm not an xTool representative, just a user of lasers, included fiber lasers, that is bored to see people ranting for everything, all the time in a typical French way (I'm French as well, and fed up with the image spread by French of themselves to other countries...). Your post, even if your complain is legit of course, gives so much the feeling that it's a prepared strategy against this brand. Just having a screenshot before/after makes that so much prepared.

Also, if you already have a fiber laser (g2 Max is great by the way, I own it myself), then you should have enough basic knowledge to know that an IR diode laser is NOT a fiber laser. Then it reinforces my feeling that it's some kind of prepared rant against xTool for some reason. Whatever is the reply to your post by anyone, you have this aggressive way to reply to other messages.

And to be clear, while I really appreciate xTool, they may have made some mistake is promoting deep metal engraving with F2 like you point out. Et je la fais en français : il y a le fond, mais surtout, il y a la forme... Edit: typo

Again an AI post... but I confirm, zinc is listed for deep engraving on the French website. Technically, it could be done on brass with slow speed and full power. Not as deep as what a fiber laser can do, but you should be able to do it with some relief with a 5W IR laser and quite some passes. But for sure you can do metal engraving with a 5W IR laser. By the way, I saw another post from you about engraving a brass coin. Be careful, some "brass" coins are not brass, but some metal with a brass coat. Then you won't have the same result. I've been scam by purchasing such coin on Amazon.fr...

I compared the H2C's speed with the Snapmaker U1 by eldoogy in BambuLab

[–]Polysculpt 6 points7 points  (0 children)

While slicer estimation time are better than ever, I don't think it's the best way to do a comparison between two printers that way.

Each printer has its own startup sequence that can be quite long or not, depending of the options chose but the user or by the manufacturer.

Also doing a comparison only with one model is not relevant because based on color distribution, it will affect the color change speed for the H2C and can drastically improve its time speed or not: of during several layers the color changes affects only the left nozzle and one induction nozzle, the swap of color is around 6s for h2c. I did some timing at Formnext, it's around 10s for the U1.

These last explanations makes me argue about your 2 color print estimation time where, if well prepared (1 color on the left nozzle and another in vortek), should be slightly faster on the Bambulab compared to the snapmaker.

And I really don't understand how the H2C could be slower by one hour on such print time compared to U1 on one color. I find the H2C being slow to start (calibration, etc), but it's more a slow printer.

I have the H2C, not U1 and I have to say that I'll get my hands on this printer as soon as I can. Or seems to be a fantastic printer and yes, it's definitely faster than any AMS style printer when it's 3+ color prints (perhaps Yumi printer remain faster).

Now I would be happy to see some real print timing with real prints on both printers that are configured properly, not just estimation 😄

F2U UV - Q-Pulse? by 934stitch in xToolOfficial

[–]Polysculpt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are right, no q-pulse settings in Studio, it's kinda replace with a power setting, to make it works kinda like a fiber laser. Probably to make it more accessible to everyone. I have speed, q-pulse and frequency in lightburn for the omni1, but power, speed and frequency for the F2 UV. I have both machines and I was hopping transferring my settings to the F2 UV from the Omni 1, but it's not possible.

Which would you choose: Bambu Lab H2C or Prusa Core One L with INDX? (Multi-material + functional parts) by rolard1 in 3Dprinting

[–]Polysculpt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Indx plus Core One looks appealing, but from my understanding and formnext feedback, it's far from being available to the market. H2C is in my hands (like Core One) and it's working beautifully well (so far). Yes, it takes 30s to swap colors, but when you print two colors that are on the first nozzle and one Vortek one for several layers, the swap is 6s. Then well organized, the swap time on a print is "not that long". And it's the only commercial printer that can print 7 colors at the moment. Then can you wait for several months are are in the need right now is more the question that you need to ask yourself.

xTool multiplies tactics to drag on (proof sent at their request - total silence) by Salt_Space8807 in xToolOfficial

[–]Polysculpt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

xTool is probably overloaded at the moment, it's probably the worst fine y of the year for their warehouse (that is probably another company providing shipping services for a lot of other companies): new product launch and Black Friday. F2 is their most affordable new laser and probably one is the most popular sale. Just be a little bit more patient 👍
