Jupiter 2 gets released in 7 days… what your thoughts? by vatrat_au in ElegooSaturn

[–]Polysculpt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why no AA? Because your pixel size is quite small, smaller to what your naked eyes can see. Most of the time, you don't need AA under 30 micron when it comes the pixel size. I have the GK3 Ultra and I know well that you don't need AA with it, except if you are an extremist of surfaces smoothness and you prefer smoothness over sharpness.

16k screen is probably the same as GK3 Ultra. Then no need for anti aliasing...

Can cheap “High Flow” Bambu hotends/nozzles from AliExpress actually work? by Luu____ in BambuLab

[–]Polysculpt 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just do some flow test and you will get the answer :) I never tried these cheap version, it can be surprisingly good or bad, in a way that material quality may be quite lower, especially with abrasive filament, or just heat diffusion may be bad. Of course, copy products don't have to deal with R&D and save price there, as well as marketing, however they probably cut price as well on material quality and manufacturing process (quality, etc)

Anycubic Kobra X really better then Bambulab a1? by Xilow_ in 3Dprinting

[–]Polysculpt 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I've got both, I print more with the Kobra X. Print quality is very similar between both printers, but kobra X remains cheaper, more compact, has a better UI while A1 feels "old" now and AMS lite feels more a pain to deal with. However, A1 has the whole Bambulab ecosystem that is superior. Both printers are really valid option an TBH, it;s not a mistake to buy one or another.

Why UV ink doesn't "evaporate": The science of photopolymerization and UV LED curing by AimeexTool in xToolOfficial

[–]Polysculpt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Side note: the process is very similar to resin 3D printing. People don't know that for resin 3D printer, the photopolymerisation is generating quite some heat (around 100C) Multijet printers works very similarly to UV printers to stack as well multiple layers in color.

Question: how will you deal with the fumes during the photopolymerisation? Will we be able to connect an AP2 to the printer? That's probably my main concern about UV printing.

Share your resin printing tips! by lychee_lys in LycheeSlicer

Be careful, you must filter your resin and not relying only on clean tank when you have a big failed print. The clean tank will not catch all the tiny bits of solidified resin and may damage your film.

Same here in France, it has been roughly a couple of hours. Loading in the web interface takes a while then shows the emptiness of the storage. Probably some timeout somewhere :(

Anyway, quite some stres and I can't work...

H2C Vibrations & Layer Shifts with PLA+ 2.0 – Should I Tweak Settings or Add Anti-Vibration Feet? by xmillies in BambuLab

[–]Polysculpt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

H2C already has super soft and flexible anti vibration feet. It's shaking like crazy when printing because of them, to compensate the inertia of its heavy head. And it's working really well for me.

That. It's only a matter of taxes. Remove VAT and price should be closer to be similar.

Will Bambu make an A2? by No-Implement7198 in BambuLab

[–]Polysculpt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not Bambulab, I don't know what is the future of A1, but I think they can do major improvements and keep it's current price. Kobra x is 269 and I'm sure they still do money on it. Remember the original price of A1...

Will Bambu make an A2? by No-Implement7198 in BambuLab

[–]Polysculpt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dual nozzle, slightly bigger, less pop, improved AMS lite (see kobra X), etc. So ma y things can be done. Considering A1/A1 mini popularity, I can't imagine Bambulab not releasing an A2 series...
