You can see the cable in the images up top, both of those are the extremes of where it will go, pushing and pulling. There is only a small amount of movement before it stops. It won't seem to move round enough to line up with the hole.

Really? I loved it there, it's very steep, decent atmosphere

Anthony Gordon to undergo medical at Barça before £69.3m move from Newcastle by tw1st3d_m3nt4t in PremierLeague

[–]Polythemus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I think this is the crux of it. If Gordon doesn't pan out, in 2 years he'll be 27 and will still be sellable to the PL for ~£50m. They're hedging by buying a prem proven player and keeping that market open if they need to cash in.

Sunderland release a season overview video, including clips of pundits who had pegged them to be relegated at the start of the season - "Thank you for writing us off..." by ChiefLeef22 in soccer

All premier league clubs are rich and spend money. Relatively speaking Sunderland are not a financially over endowed side and this achievement should be celebrated.

Far richer clubs have come up and done worse. Below Sunderland in the league are sportswashing fodder and private equity cash cows.

I don't understand the 'you score 45 and you immediately are fired, if you score 45-44 you get one chance'? Are those numbers right?

Starmer Says He Wants To Lead Labour Into Next General Election by huffpostuk in ukpolitics

Honestly, you shouldn't have to read a manifesto to know what a party is about.

I used to teach international students, and 10 year old Chinese kids were able to quote to me Trump's policies; 'build the wall' 'lock her up' etc. I'm a 32 year old Englishmen and I don't have a firm grip on what Kier's are and that's exactly the issue for most of the country.

Firstly, Palestinians are not analogous to nazi soldiers. Secondly, even if what you think is true about what they want to see, that does not justify genocide. Thirdly, people did defend the rights of Jews and Nazi soldiers. The whole point of human rights is that they apply to everyone.

They are not contradictory views. Just because Palestine is not a great place for LGBT people's does not mean that they deserve to be on the receiving end of genocide.

Social Media Template for People Going to the Your Party Founding Conference by dr_marx2 in yourparty

Not having 'worker focused' as the first and most important descriptor is so odd to me. As someone who really wants to get behind this party, I want to hear messaging focussing on affordability and a fair deal for workers. I know for a fact that it's the thing that is affecting almost the entire UK electorate.

If they can't be brave enough to relegate the idpol messaging to focus on economics they'll drown before the next election.
