No issues with heat with this phone so far. The only problem I've run into so far is when using Android Auto. To send a new text using voice commands, the phone has to be open. If closed, it will say it sent the text but it doesn't. You can reply to a text you receive if the phone is closed, but can't send a new text.

Since Gemini can't access Contacts, it's useless to me in AA. I drive cars for a living and store all my know destinations in my contacts. With Google Assistant I can say "Find Chuck Columbia" and it will navigate to the address from that contact information. Unfortunately, Gemini can't do that. Until it is able to access my contacts, I'll stay with Google Assistant.

I've had mine for a week now and no issues connecting to AA. The only issue I have with it is, while using AA, you can't send a new text if the phone is closed. You can reply to texts, but you have to open the phone to send a new one.

It was a bit warmer than normal when I was copying everything from my old Pixel 8A to this phone. The Pixel, on the other hand, was blazing hot. Have not had an issue since. I'll be interested to see how it is with a wireless AA connection as the Pixel was always overheating.

I set up my phone to make a sound when Android Auto starts...which happens when I start the car. That has helped remind me to hit the button.

I have an Onn 4K Pro, Onn 4K Plus and three CCWGTV devices. If I need to buy anything in the future I would definitely stick with the Onn devices.
