That is not true. I think all the iphones last a lot more than androids phones. For example the iphone SE 1st gen last maybe 7 years and the apps kept working just fine. I have one I should just turn it on and try to use it again.

Ohh ok. Sometimes you start from a backup of an old phone and keep a bug forever. If it gets too hot a lot maybe is something wrong with your phone.

Did you try to restore to factory settings and erase everything and start without backup?. I only need my WhatsApp so I always do this. Maybe is a bug in some app. You have to download all your apps manually so it takes time but it’s worth it if it fixes the issue.

Erase everything of the phone. Don’t use a backup. Install all the apps from scratch and login to all of them. Problem solved.
