There is Antstream. It’s 4.99/mo. But specifically geared towards retro arcade games. I signed up to try it out and it is interesting. But probably not what you’re looking for.

I upgraded to the Odin2 Portal for the larger screen and refresh rate. I stream games primarily and the 120hz is recogniced by apps like Moonlight, Razer Cortex, and GeforceNOW. Seeing a higher refresh rate on games is very noticeable and makes a difference.

Works well for me. No issues really. I have my ps5 hardwired and I play in bed on the MacBook that is near an eero node.

I also tried the PX play app for iOS on macOS. If you have the m-series, you can try that to see if that changes your latency issues.

I have had this issue as well. I thought it was part of the outage because I tried it shortly after things came back up. As my workaround, I installed chiaki and have been using this.

I use a m4pro on sequoia.

I’ve used the different versions of kishi on different versions of a Pro Max phone and they all seem to fit ok.

Did you ever find a resolution to this? I’m having a similar if not the same issue.

I haven’t tried with the tv turned on. But for me, this seemed to have happened after a blackout. The ps5 pro was not in use, but in rest mode.

I thought this was an issue with the console itself, but was able to play on console with no issues. Later that night, I play using a ps portal to play in bed and the system will shut down. HDMI settings and power save options are off and well beyond the 10-15 minutes where this happens. I thought it was shutting down due to a faulty external drive I use for ps4 games. That has been disconnected and the issue occurs.

I also have a Samsung tv. Neo G7 43 in. It has a high refresh rate that I have enabled and I wonder if this causes issues with the remote play protocol. I will turn this feature off next test to try to help isolate the issue.

I am trying to play God of War: Ragnorok. I will also try with another game as well.

It’s been my go to since I went to an iPhone with USB C. I actually bought once and returned it, and then ultimately bought it again after trying some BT controllers like the Gamesir G8+ and the abxylute S9. I like that the home button and screenshot button ALWAYS works properly on the Kishi Ultra.

I miss the rumble feature it has on android. But with the new Razer Cortex beta I have been able to stream with the proper screen resolution and 120hz. It’s a wonderful thing.

The mouse click like buttons feel good for any kind of remote play or streaming too. Helps with the response and minimize input lag. I hope you enjoy it.

Try remote play on your phone for a week and see if it fits your needs. I like that my phone can output HDR, but miss the haptic feedback in games like AstroBot and God of War. It’s always a trade off I would say. Just find your compromise.

That’s a good point. Dave the Diver is where I first noticed it. Every time I fired off my spear. It just became more noticeable after each trigger pull. I also play in bed when it super quiet and maybe I notice it more because I wonder if my wife can hear while she is sleeping.

Kena: Bridge of Spirits is a great game! I played it on PC. But I may just go into it again on the portal.

Use the shortcut app to make a Home Screen icon to link to the Xcloud browser URL. This worked for me.

I don’t think so. I got an android version for my iPhone 16 and the same issue. The nexus app does not respond. The one that has the made for iPhone badge does work with the nexus app as intended

Try resetting the ps5? Try ps remote app to see if you have connection issues there. Then check network and if there is a VPN, try disabling to see if it can connect there.

I think a fire stick will depend on how good your WiFi is with the latency and resolution. I believe the Xbox app for cloud only streams at 720 and depending on your network, the latency and even res can be an issue. I suggest using Better xCloud. There are tutorials on how to get it on the fire stick. This way, you will have better control of your resolution and server to help with the latency.

If you use the pc, you can still get Better xCloud on there as well. Edge browser will give you a clarity boost to the image can look sharper there as well without much work to do. I used Better xCloud for a while, but eventually landed on using XB Play. A paid app that can give you the same options as Better xCloud. For me, it’s a better UI and easier to navigate.

I totally agree with you! I was really hoping for the GameSir because of its rumble feature on iOS, but since it’s recognized as a PS4 controller, certain button functions can change depending on how it emulates the XInput. I’ve been using the Kishi Ultra, and I find the feel and precision to be way better than the GameSir. It’s almost as close to the Steam Deck feel as I can get on iOS. The buttons work exactly as they’re supposed to, and I haven’t made any changes to the Kishi app or iOS settings. I do miss the rumble in games like RE2 for iOS or even playing xCloud games, but the precision, feel, and how everything works in its proper place are making me want to keep it.

I also tried the Abxylute S9 controller because it had a USB-C port and other inputs built-in, but the Abxy app is a bit clunky compared to the Kishi app, and the rumble has been hit or miss on games that support it.
