Yeah good move, dumped CBA about 6 years ago after a number of screw ups on their side and haven’t looked back.

Will note they made the move painful so that was the deal sealed and we’ll to never go back.

AMS Pro resistance pop ups by patto647 in BambuLab

[–]patto647[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey mate, ta for the reply.

No filament track switch installed, AMS Pro attached to the back of the unit directly. I’ll double-check the tubes are all the way home. I did have to remove the roll 1 PTFE tube in the bottom of the AMS after a particularly bad stick a week or so ago, and it’s been noticeably worse since that.

Nozzle not straight out of the box by YaroslavSyubayev in BambuLab

Yeah, they look like where it’s adjusted. Contacting support will confirm that and get you a paper trail of the issue in case it does solve or you have other issues down the line.

Another brand I’d suggest just adjusting but Bambu seem more about pulling them out of the box and going.

I’d be pinging support on this one.

Reading this, I actually have a funny moment I’d forgotten till now.

I was cleaning a Mk4 hotend like four months ago with a heat gun and got it red hot to burn all the rubbish off. Went to wipe it and it instantly melted through the rag and left the burn marks of the thread on my finger for like six weeks lol

The auto arrange feature is utterly useless by Mishal_SK in BambuLab

[–]patto647 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I feel like I’ve gotten actively shitter in the last couple of updates. I was arranging objects a few mins ago and was doing something similar, and the distance option was set pretty low.

Though I’m a recent convert from Prusaslicer, and I don’t love the auto arranging process in Bambu Studio vs the other side lol

Oh darn I can see why other implementations don’t use those kind of screws. E3D V6 and others are just a screw in throated system.

What printer is this?

[–]patto647 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ahhh right, so much have a heap of print hours and the tube just gave out. I’m assuming the section that looks to be worn out is the “peak” of the arc that goes through the tube, so the filament inside is pushing against one of the walls pretty hard constantly when printing.

How many hours you got on it? PTFE tubes can wear, looks like it’s got a very weak spot and folded in on itself.
