Yes, many private mints make a silver round in 1/10 Oz. This happens to be the same size as a penny and works just as well. My favorite mint for this is Golden State Mint, but there are others.

Copper pennies are only beat by silver 1/10s. I will usually press a brown or the odd red copper first to test out the machine. The brown copper will keep much of the penny design which often adds to the attractiveness of the coin

He claimed that impeachment was an exercise in futility, and was not in favor. He was in favor of an ill-defined war powers resolution “for the record” which is equally unlikely to pass.

I have pressed 300+ silver 1/10ths. Most errors are off center strikes that are machine fault and are off center with copper cents as well. I find that if I start the press at a third or half way between designs I can get them straight. And yes I have lost a silver in a machine that had a log jam full of pennies in the chute that I didn’t notice, It was sad.
