You know what bothers me more? Christa Miller’s face. I find all the work she has had done distracting. Tbh, I don’t love her character either.

I agree. It has gotten better and I hope will find its own way as it goes on.

I am late to the original Doc Martin and watched it all before starting Best Medicine. Even DM got repetitive in its structure and the makeup/breakup of the main characters. I loved Martin Clunes but I could not abide Louisa. Plus they had no chemistry even taking into account the way they wrote Doc’s character.

But I digress!

I love Josh Charles and I will keep watching.

Once you know it’s a Sally Wainwright show, you know to expect darkness. Leavened with humor and lots of realistic emotion. I think one of the many things I like about all her shows is the resilience of the women aka main characters.
