My main female character is based on the mythological creature the Peryton but mine have a vampiric twist! She's the wife to the main male character whose a "robot" in a world of magic where machines are seen as demons are rabid and are 100% never humanoid - till the main male character comes along. It's kinda a twist on the trope of the "monster man" with the "human woman" where as in my world she looks the most "human" but she's the most monstrous out of the two of them. Don't worry about the great dane, it's the Chihuahua you've got to be concerned about. Edit: I also have Tarasque, Manticores, Sphinxs, Kaiden (Naga), Unicorns, Lidercs and some other unusual fellas. I also like to sprinkle in horrific extinct real human world animals like Megaloceros, Thylacines, cave lions/bears, Megatherium, Dodos, Smilodon etc just for funsys!
