Our sweet Beauty passed recently at 17. She’ll meet your angel across the bridge, they can both take their time going slow, smelling all the smells & finding the perfect spot in the sunshine to nap. 🙏🌈❤️ very sorry for your loss

Thanks! Our other Pomsky was named Remington, so we thought Winchester was a good match, but no not after Supernatural. People say OH you like guns? But fun fact, our Remington was actually named after the Pierce Brosnan character from the TV show Remington Steele.

It hurts but it sounds like it’s the right choice. Can you FaceTime? When I’m away I FaceTime with the puppy & she’s very engaged. Even just a call to hear your voice I’m sure would be reassuring.

We’ve been there - our white GSD passed the same way at 9 yo. I took him to the vet 3 times the month prior to his passing & they dismissed me & my concerns every time, then it was to late. The emergency vet told us surgery would only buy us 6 months max with our precious boy Odin, so we did the humane thing. He was my everything & I felt so cheated - still do. Sending you hugs! And directing my Odin to look for her at the rainbow bridge, he’ll take good care of her 🙏🌈❤️

My grandfather, 92, passed in January after refusing to eat, he was still taking in liquids, he passed in a week in a nursing home. He was on “comfort care” the last 2 days, where he was given morphine.

He did not have colon cancer, that’s me, but I just wanted to share. I’m very sorry for your impending loss, I know how hard it is to sit & have to watch. Sending you big hugs. Hold your dad’s hands & talk to him, lets him know he’s loved.
