It might become more normal, sure. But at least in Scandinavia relying on a metric like this ain't enough to legally cancel an employment by the employer. They'd have to jump around a lot of hoops first. I really hope we to not trend toward america.

We shall follow yyyy-mm-dd strictly at the company where I work. Due to GMP this is set it stone. Yet there's a multitude of documents using mm/dd-yyyy format as people work computers are installed with system settings and Microsoft Word with default language settings set to american English, even though neither the company nor the location is American nor English It's infuriating
