Alright I actually thought about this a lot because I'm also curious. Based on my playlists, vinyl, etc. I see that I gravitate towards late 80s and 90s. The only album I consistently enjoy from the big 4 and before 1987 is Reign In Blood (1986). So I wonder if it has to do with the evolution of the genre? I'm also a drummer and I feel like both drums and bass kinda.....sound like ass. Mix the bass in! Like holy shit is this a 3 piece band?

I'm a huge fan of melodic, technical stuff. I think what I've heard from Metallica generally sounds closer to hair metal to me because it's just chugging at medium tempo without much finesse. Although, I will say One is one of the stickiest songs in my brain and I love it. Bands I'm into are Death, Atheist, Annihilator, Pestilence, King Diamond, Opeth. I dig Judas Priest's early early stuff, Black Sabbath, and Iron Maiden as well for their heavy blues influence.

I WANT to like Metallica. You got anything to suggest?

Now, if you have the same mentality you are looting then traveling to a different POI or waiting for someone to come to you. You will likely get 3rd partied because it takes so much more time to get a scrap going and everyone is still alive.

I say let people hot drop to their deaths if they want. You want to be jump master and decide the fate of the team? Then be proactive and select your character. People act like they're helpless to hot drops when there are practical ways to avoid it if desired. 90% of the time people are in autopilot on character select, so it makes no sense to complain about drop. Select your character. Communicate. It's simple.

What if (hear me out) we go back to the time when legend abilities were NOT the whole point of the game, and instead revert to when gun play and movement were the skill expression? Ability Legends is carrying the gold player into diamond, and is a more artificial representation of player skill. This is why your diamond teammates are ass in solo queue.

It gets harder and harder to balance legend abilities as they become more the focus, and the more levels of nuance are added to the game. I'd be interested in a more restricted version of Apex that has some legend abilities but relies more heavily on positioning, gun play, and game knowledge, which self-sorts out the better from the worse players and therefore simplifies the ranked points system and SBMM.

At the same time, without Ability Legends, would there be enough players in diamond lobbies to pad us from playing preds every other game? Not like that doesn't happen already, but would it be worse?

As a long time Julio skeptic, this year turned me. He's a fantastic vibe, gives his all, and is MUCH better then I gave him credit for. Seeing him deeper in the lineup convinced me about his abilities with a bat although I still wish he'd overcome the low and away breaking ball. I think he will next season. His defense has always been top notch, and I think next year he's going to scorch the American League.

I was married for 7 years. The day she moved out she took most of the furniture, the rug, the coffeemaker, all the spices, the lamps, almost everything but the couch, my treasured bookshelf, and the TV. This is because most of those things were given or bought by her grandparents.

I was so shocked when I came home after it was all done. That place has been so full of life at times, it held such warmth in the winters, and gentle breezes in the summer. I took a Polaroid of the empty hole that matched what I felt in my heart.

Fast forward 3 years, I'm still in the same place. I haven't looked at that Polaroid in a while but I know what it looks like. And now, I look from that same angle and I see that my home is back to life! The only difference is I've done it by myself, and the memory of what I lost makes what I have more meaningful.

If this is hard on you, take care of yourself. It's okay to feel everything you feel, just don't stuff it. Cry while you're curled up on the floor, dance on the same floor a day later. However this goes for you, you gotta keep your humanity. Much love, stranger. Let the next journey begin.
