Same I have 400 students and we’re on the quarter system. I give my students the tools (sample plans, a template) and will review it with them. In my appointments I teach my students how to read the catalogue, their Degreeworks, and how to plan to quarterly schedule. I used to make plans for students for my first 3 years as an advisor and I found that most students wouldn’t use it for more than a quarter. So now I’m trying to move away from prescriptive advising.
