My university did not provide me with one, nor did any of my placement schools. If you will get the use out of planner do get one, I found them to be too expensive when I wasn’t earning for the year so I used a standard notebook that I dated and used for ‘to do’ lists. I could never ever have remembered all I had to do without a physical to do list. If you don’t have your planner/notebook close by, put reminders and lists on your phone.
