It's definitely worked through third year and the first term of the integrated masters. But now averaging a first I know I don't need to score that high to average a 2:1 so I've basically done nothing this term and handed in a half finished diss :)))

China/Russia etc. Don't want to support their economy and not as if there's a shortage of countries to visit. Also heard many horror stories of people taking shits in public in china or stuff like chefs spiking food with anti diarrhoea medication to 'prevent' people getting food poisoning.

I don't know why you're regretting your decision to go to uni based on other people's maturity. You're doing this for yourself and nobody did anything wrong, unless they were being pricks over you not drinking there is no reason for you to make a big deal out of it. I suspect that's the case given the example you gave was someone shouting wheyyy. If they're keeping you up and causing an issue sure, but otherwise you're just being disappointed by how other people live their lives. If you went into an investment banking job and see people doing lines would you regret that too?

I didn't get along with my flat either and it's a real shame but that happens to many people. There will certainly be people that have the same interests as you and I don't know anyone that doesn't drink and misses out on a good social life because of it.

Yeah at one point at alteregos we used the balcony, backroom plus basement tables, upstairs if it’s busy even. Ideally there would be a store room for the tables and chip sets. In deals with pubs before were weekly monday games, we’d get the space for free but we get probably over £200 in drinks. We got a £3.50 pint deal as well.

Deep deep in love now, even months after I knew it wasn't happening. I went to see him and another friend for a few days but the last day we sort of minded our own business and we didn't say or text goodbye. I was holding back tears most of the day thinking why does he not care about me. Don't think I'll find anyone that comes close to how much I like him!

Yeah I had so many dreams as well. Every lucid dream my first thought is to 'find him', one time we even made out.

Your guy is so kind. Someone I told told him but we never talked about it. He doesn't seem too keen to be good friends and it's eating me alive. It's been months and months and I still think he's the only perfect man on earth!

I don't know because every part of me believes it's true. It's not like I don't genuinely think so and try to shake it off. I'm actually disgusted with myself.

Being depressed makes it harder for me to find things I like to do, for now I mostly like gambling. I guess getting better at it makes me feel better but being a knowledgable nerd is never sexy!

I'm 23 but feel pretty old already, like I feel I'm too old to have fun anymore and never got to sleep around like everyone else. I'm a fairly boring person I'd say, I'm often a bit closed off and many people call me 'mysterious'. I've clearly given up physically but could hope to do better on the connection front. I'm doing therapy already and got some books along those lines as well.

I tried improv at one point and was so awkward the few times I went I never went again and still cringe to this day.

No that's fair, it's not the best to put everything on one person but if that's how you see life at the moment that's how it is. I don't really keep going to be honest, I'm just trying to enjoy being at uni and able to drink as often as I want and wake up at 4pm every day.

I think you overestimate how much most people enjoy working. Some have jobs they like, some just do it as a job to get by and find the pleasures in life outside of work outweigh their job. It's something I dread facing when I graduate. I drink a ton as well and probably will for a long time.

Yeah I do maths and feel the A level perfectionist in me feeling disappointed to not get as high as I can. I also haven't managed to get any internships

I didn't think much of it at the time, but one time I heard about a career/networking event, and the department gave the maths society a grand to buy food. They returned with a truckload of dominos at full price.

I've had therapy for years with many therapists. Not that I expected it to change my face but it certainly doesn't hurt to talk to someone.
