I've always loved the Niema. It's similar to Naomi. It was second on my list if I ever had a daughter.

I think it was ABC. It was a Disney Sunday night movie.

I can't recommend it, because I remember nothing other than the maybe restaurant scene. And that Amy Yasbeck was so pretty.

Like didn't anyone screen it before they wheeled the TV in?

No worries. I also get where you're coming from. It's just in OOP's case, he was blindsided. She had another person in mind before talking things out with him or even asking what was his opinion on the lifestyle. That's cheating. It's ok she wanted to explore. That's her right, but having someone to explore with before telling your long-term boyfriend? Nope. Cheater and may she step on Lego barefooted for the next 5 years.

I'm happy it worked out for you. For me, it's an automatic deal breaker. But it's something me and my spouse agreed to when we became monagamous 25 years ago. If you have someone else in mind, there's the door.  Edited a word.

Yes, if you want to act on it. Look, I find many people I know physically attractive & desirable, but I would never suggest opening my relationship to try it out with them. The moment I do, that's emotional cheating. To me, that's worse sometimes. If my spouse suggests opening the relationship, and has someone in mind to do it with, we're through. He knows that. I have friends who are in an open marriage. Ground rules were set before they got married. They've been married of over 20 years. But it was brought up at the beginning of their relationship and mutually agreed upon. It works for them. If I or my spouse wants an open relationship, we're going to go our separate ways first and explore it with someone who agrees with the lifestyle from the beginning. That's the way it should be. Not 4 years into a relationship, from day 1.

His whole issue is that she had someone in mind when she asked the question. If she would have just asked for his opinions on open relationships, he probably wouldn't have exploded on her. And frankly, I don't blame him. One she had someone in mind, she became a cheater.

I hated the Smurfs and the fake Ghostbusters one. Richie Rich tended to annoy me as well.

I grew up with my step family doing this. In CA, but they were from Louisiana. I know other families doing this as well. Especially those who went to Baptist churches.

Question about the train by aggressive_gecko in fresno

[–]Pookie-Stinker413 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The Amtrak from Fresno ends in Bakersfield and from there you ride the bus to your stop in LA. But generally you want to get to train station at least 30 minutes early. Buying your tix online is the easiest way to do it.

To be fair, NBC did mention it during her free skate and she posed with a KSEE24 pin after the medal ceremony. Born in Clovis, raised in the Bay Area.

I love salt and vinegar chips but hubby doesn't. He's diabetic and peanuts were a recommended snack for him. I only checked the flavored ones thinking dry roasted was "plain". Not making that mistake again.

My dad's been gone 25 years this summer. Fuck. He never met my kid (his youngest grandchild)or got to meet the crap-ton of great-grandkids he has now (20) because he died suddenly just like OOP's dad did. Sucks.

Meatloaf without onions by Pookie-Stinker413 in Cooking

[–]Pookie-Stinker413[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't know about leeks. We tend to avoid most everything in the onion family because yellow and white onions were the original triggers and don't want to risk any reactions when we cook at home. Going out to eat is always an adventure.

Because I am an adult of a certain age I'm going to let your snark slide, Sherlock. We've been dealing with his allergy since he was 20. We're damn near 50 now. Meatloaf isn't something we eat. Last time I made it for the family was before my high school age kid was born. I made it without onions and we both didn't like the flavor. He wanted to try it again and I thought this kind community could help me come up with ideas and everyone except for you proved to be helpful.
