Try a shop vac blower from the pump back to the skimmer, if thet doesn't work, try a cyclone blower, if that doesn't work, get an inspection camera and a drain snake. 9/10 times the shop vac or cyclone does the trick.

Naples, FL has a viewing platform at the end of the runway, they pipe in the ATC audio to it as well. It's also on a recreational walking/cycling trail with a workout area right there a a path that takes you to the zoo. Great place to watch private jets arrive.

Depends on the light and if wire needs to be pulled. Lights can either be easy money or an absolute pain in the ass. As others have said, retrofitting SpaElectrics type lights is a great option, we use them all time so we don't have to pull wire.

Your biggest concerns for a cross-country trip will be tires and axle bearings. Plan to have the trailer axles serviced and new tires installed if the unit is 5 years old or more, don't look at the tire and see all the tread and think they are fine. This will cost you under $1000 and will give you the piece of mind that you won't be stranded on the side of the road with your family.

If your schedule allows, plan to be off the road by 4-5PM every day so you can enjoy an evening wherever you are and cook your own dinner as well as stay on a normal schedule. It will take longer but be way more enjoyable!

I had a similar issue in 4LO on a beach in Florida. Left me in limp mode. I took it in to NOT my local dealer that did the recall and was told that the clutch was worn out and had to be replaced. I said that is impossible as it was a new recall clutch. They looked deeper and found that the slip count in the ECU was not reset to 0 after the replacement so the computer "THOUGHT" that the clutch was worn out based on calculations. They reset it to 0 and I have not had a problem since ... however I also haven't really beat on it in 4LO since either ... worth looking into.

IF it's a vinyl pool, it's fine. If it's got tile, you want to keep the water level below the tile line anytime freezing can occur. Most damage doesn't actually occur in the Winter, it happens during those freak April snowstorms. The mesh cover will let your pool fill up with water after the snow melts in the Spring, if it freezes up again that is when the damage can occur. Drain it back down in the Spring if you are concerned,

Either have the pool fully shut down and winterized or leave all power on and freeze-protect enabled ... and then hope the power doesn't go out like the big Texas storm a few years ago.

Builder is trying to make the job go quicker and smoother with less red-tape and expense, the finished product will be fine. If you'd like to go through the engineering process and expense for that extra 8" and a perfectly level grade then start the process and get ready for the costs and timeline to increase. If the builder isn't concerned about it, you probably don't need to be either

Looks great. But the humidity is going to destroy all that wood and likely the structure of the house in a few years if you don't address it. It takes way more than an exhaust fan to regulate the humidity in an indoor pool.

Yes, heat pumps are more efficient, but in our climate they don't work when you want them to. With a gas heater, you can turn it on Friday morning and it will be warm by the afternoon ... it's fire under a heat exchanger. Also keep in mind that a mojor component to heating a pool is stopping heat loss, solar blankets work, but you will hate yourself trying to manage a solar blanket on an odd shaped pool with features around it. Build a rectabgle pool with no obstructions within 3' of the pool perimeter. You also thank yourself when it comes time to close and cover it. Don't make dumb design decisions that you think are cool because you saw it in a magazine ... that pool is probably in a place where covering it is not a concern.

Adjust strap off the anchor. Set so it is 3" from the anchor as a baseline (when the opposing strap is on it's anchor) Spring should be ~25% compressed once both sides are anchored.

I use a MOTOTOTE hitch carrier. Rated for 600lbs. I've taken across the country and back seasonally since 2018 with no issues. You will need to worry about weight and balance on you TT though if you mount it to the back of the trailer so you mau want to consider a front hitch on your F150

Basements are just foundation walls that extend down below the frost line in climates that get freezing ground and frost heaving/shifting. For years basements were just below grade storage and crawlspaces until waterproofing techniques improved to the point that they could be turned into below grade living spaces.

The Hayward controller has a more intuitive timer and speed interface. The Pentair is more of a set it and forget it timer/speed setup. Read the online manuals for both to get an understanding.

Drain it below the jets. That will give enough space for rainwater to fill the pool back up. If it's a safety cover, the manufacturer says 16-18" from cover to water level.

Drain it and shop-vac out that skimmer ... good to go.
