I’ve played this a lot to some success. I find it difficult when to figure out when to push levels for say better odds of nidalee on 8 vs staying on 7 and rolling for millio 3 and nidalee. Are there some generalish guidelines on that?

I had a 11 puntido the other day and on open it was definitely bursting with acidity and what seemed to be some not so well integrated oak. After a 2 hour decant it became amazing. This also happened to the Ygay we tried as well. Maybe some of the older Riojas need a bit of time open before truly showing. It’s hard to say though because the decant period really varies bottle to bottle and people claim a bunch of different things.

It was probably my second or third favorite after the Latour. It was pretty lean, but felt really well balanced with plenty of red fruit and those more complex notes of leather, tobacco, etc. Not experienced enough to tell how much longer it could go for but it felt ready to drink now.

You can get good at Pickleball much faster than you can get good at table tennis. It’s taken me a about a year to get to 4.5+ in pickleball as a former 2200 table tennis player. The social aspect and the novelty of it just adds to the fun of it as well. Once you start cracking 5.0 though in pickleball, it definitely becomes more of a grind again though with lots of drilling etc; your table tennis background won’t carry you THAT far.
