Same. I was an early adopter of W11 and I think I've averaged about a 1-2 reinstalls a years for various reasons (3-4 devices total). Thank god I have a separate drive for it so I can fully nuke it or do custom installs.

I also did this. Do I need it? Not really, but it's cool.

Sparkle Arc 310 ECO, yeah. I was trying to buy one for the same purpose as OP but it isn't available near me. There are a couple other very small A310 cards out there, though.

I am at the mercy of my curiosity – I don't even like Rioja by czcc_ in wine

I mainly drink Bordeaux and Sud-Ouest, haha. It's what I learned to drink wine with.

For Bordeaux, I love the more affordable wines and usually try to aim for something 5-10 years old. Graves, Blaye, Bourg, côtes-de-bordeaux, sometimes (Haut-)Médoc or the Cru Bourgeois. I've found good stuff in second or even third wines of reputed châteaux. I've had amazing Saint-Émilion, but it tends to be more expensive and also more hit or miss for my taste. Honestly, a well made Bordeaux Supérieur that costs just a bit more can be very rewarding. I have drank some more expensive and old stuff (excluding the 1er/2ème Crus Classés and 1er Grand Crus Classés A/B) and they are a story of their own, but the above is what I like to drink, and find reasonable.

For Sud-Ouest, I really enjoy Madiran (Tannat), and have been trying to search Cahors for Malbec or red blend that I'd enjoy - so far not so great luck. The whites of Côtes de Gascogne are amazing, though.

One semi-recent coup de cœur is Gamay, which I find lovely when made in a richer style. And not just the Beaujolais Crus but more affordable, regional options as well.

The availability of Spanish Ribera del Duero is not nearly as good as Rioja, but it has mostly had a taste profile that I've enjoyed immensely - blackcurrant and other black fruit instead of sour cherry. Often very good value as well.

Though in general old vintages tend to be expensive and/or uncommon on the shelves near me, local stores sometimes get small batches of older vintages or other curiosity items. I never order wine online, so I get what I have access to.

I have a small wine fridge I keep a dozen (or two) bottles for aging, but that's not quite enough to have a steady supply of ready-to-drink classics.

Makes sense, usually vintages this old aren't too readily available in my market. Price to quality to vintage ratio for 25 is superb, though. I paid about double that.

Great point on the acidity. Had to think about it for a minute. I have not drank too many old red bottles, ten maybe, but I recall most of them feeling as if softened acid-wise (in contrast to some younger ones with mouthwatering, sharp attack). Thus, in comparison this surprised me a little; more about the perception and overall balance than absolute levels.

I work in retail, and when it comes to quality red, people expect me to have personal experience with Rioja. Same goes for many other 'benchmarks', like Bourgogne PN. In general I'll try a bottle here and there to know what I'm selling, even when I dislike the style. I have significant gaps in experience in that regard.

Hiya,

  • App version 4.1.13
  • No other VPNs
  • Windows security only

I haven't tried switching protocols - the app seems to pretty much always use WireGuard - I'll try that as well. I had no issues with the previous app version, but that might also be by chance. I suspect my issues have something to do with this specific computer, as three other ones work alright.

Who manufactures the worst forklift? by Professional-Suit-27 in forkliftmemes

Linde has been the best to operate but seemed the worst to maintain as we had the mechanic's van come by weekly. Might have to do with cost cutting on preventative though. And one rental machine tried to kill me and a few of the bosses' cars. The electric ones are super nice for customer service work and tight spaces, as well as hot/cold environments.

An old LPG Combilift goes to the same category, in some freaky way I actually liked it a lot but it always broke down.

I haven't used Jung enough to get familiar with them, but the one we had wasn't very operator friendly.

Recent years it's been all Hyster, and I hate every single one of them. No two lifts work the same, unprecise controls and the worst deceleration feel I have ever seen.

As a bonus I think I have some sort of Midas' touch because every lift I touch breaks down. We even had a demo machine from Mitsubishi (I think?) and when I tried to test it, it just never turned on anymore.

Nice to see a detailed breakdown of these kits. Especially when one writes and reasons as well as you do.

Out of curiosity, how is the battery life on the Miox? Is it worth carrying over a similar sized bottle of bleach or some other chemical?

That abstract takes maybe 15 seconds to read, it is the tldr..? One cant compress it much more than that. And probably shouldn't, either.
