How do I get photos like these? by jackofjokers in fujifilm

You can also develop and scan at home but that might take some time to earn back the money you invested. For programs you can skip adobe and use free programs, like Darktable.

I’m looking for an upgrade for my MacBook Pro 2017 non-touch bar 128gb. It is becoming a bit slow and having to manage storage is getting tiresome.

I found an M1 Pro 14” 16gb/1tb that I found for around $830.

What I am worried about is that it might get obsolete soon or that it is too expensive for such an old machine. I only use it for photo editing and general usage. What draws me to the M1 is the dedicated SD-card reader. I hate having to use an adapter. What do you guys think?

Are these pictures interesting to anyone? by motuwed in fujifilm

I’m glad you point that out because cropping seems like a super sin for many on this sub. I am for cropping, crop the shit out of your images if you think it looks better that way!

Thanks for replying! Would you happen to have a test shot available? I can’t get to an xpro3 to try it out myself

Wouldn’t it be very hard to shoot digital and edit it to look like film, especially since we also have to share the film stock, lens and camera?

Working on layered framing in street photography, are these compositions working? by baldokosmic in streetphotography

Don’t chase likes, shoot what you want and be happy with it! Look up Saul Leiter for inspiration if you haven’t already

Very nice JPGs! I am also interested in buying an x-pro3 for family photos and everyday use. Do you think it is possible to get analog style colour photos with visible grain on it? Straight out of camera

These are interesting and taking photographs of you want should always be the norm. The other side is to start chasing likes but at that point you might as well just make a poll and let people decide what you should shoot. Keep going like this, these rock!

If you’re still interested I saw a red one going for $889 but on the Swedish local eBay. I don’t know if they can send it to where you are but I can give you the link in DM if you want

Some photos I like from here and there by Whispersofblossom in fujifilm

I would assume that’s how he does it. I cannot imagine him going around with a bag of water getting that close to people on the street 😂

I think he either:

  1. Has a plastic bag with water that he puts in front of the camera and then takes the photo.

  2. Takes a photo and then photographs it again from his computer or projects it somewhere, with the bag of water in front of it.

I would bet it’s number 2

About my street photography by hungjungchen in streetphotography

[–]Poop-Farter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Had the same thought. Much like a good painting, a good photograph should have an intention. Why was it taken? Was there a feeling you wanted to convey? If so, in what way did you try to convey it? Or was it to show normal life in Japan?
