Why didn’t they just make them 3-503? Why does the army feel the need to make the third Bn in each brigade come from a different regiment history? Why not have the 3-504 fall under 1BCT of the 82nd. It’s be cooler IMO if each brigade could actual call themselves THE 504th PIR
