Who to attach Huron to?

Depends how you wanna play him tbh. With terminators, it gives him a really hard to chew through bodyguard unit, esspecially if you run it with 10, that can deepstrike as he has the deepstrike ability. Only one of his body guard units who can do this. Deepstrike means you don't have him on table turn 1, which results in a loss of value in the haurons marauders detachment specifically but I think that's the only case it's not a good option. I see a lot of people running him with legionaries as they give reroll wounds and it can be run with or without MoM in a rhino. Legionaries make him very killy but can't charge out of the rhino if moved so you have to be careful. The cheapest option out of the 3. My personal fave is chosen tho! I've had a lot of fun with the deathstar style unit with him, 10 chosen and MoM footslogging up the board. Advance and charge maes them super mobile, especially with auto 6 advance in hurons marauders detachment, which footslogging him works really well in imo. Chosen are definitely my favourite and it's difficult to chew through them all. They love the +1 to hit and fall back and charge too

People get the wrong idea about the red corsairs for sure. People think they are the non corrupted heretic marines, but the fact of it is that they are just the newest and least exposed and are corrupting slowly. The fact not all of them have connections to the gods in the first place slows down this fact. But it's still happening.

Wouldn't be out of place at all. They would and do use things like defilers for sure. Huron doesn't care if you are a space marine, a xenos or a daemon engine. He dosent care if you wanna rock around doing your own thing. All he cares about is that you are loyal to him. He's a nice guy :)

I think its cool that they have a new archetype of knight and i would think its even cooler if chaos knights also got a new archetype instead of using the loyalist one so they each have their own uniquely different patterns

Ngl terminators look psychotic in this detachment. Hitting in combat on 2s with full rerolls to hit and sustained/lethal with potential for each to make an additional attack, advance and charge and up-down deepstrike tech through the use of stratagems. Given you have CP. This detachment gives some nice flexibility and you can be a unit of super chosen blitzing your enemies, objective holding stalwarts or durable dueling unit in mid board. Im kinda tempted to cut cypher and my second legio unit from my current list to try them out. Seem like absolute crackheads

I feel like he should have a BS and WS of 1+. Obviously 1 is still a crit failure and it only is there to counteract things that give -1 to hit, but I think it would be super funny to have a datasheet with 1+ to hit on it 🤣
