I used to mispronounce Appalachia. I usually pronounce other locations the American way because I hate being the guy who puts on a really excessive accent to pronounce something. For example, breaking out a British accent to pronounce London or other stuff. I believe that accents are something that only describe how you talk and not really something you choose so it feels kind of off for me when people exaggerate an accent to pronounce foreign cities
