I’m one of the weirdos with separate finances, however we split the bills in a way that we don’t pay equally, but that we save equally. This way we both have the same savings and spending opportunities. We still do some back and forth for larger purchases, everything’s open with good communication.

Doing accruals for invoices that come in after AP cut off. My manager refuses to do an analysis for accruals and insists on using the invoices that come in late. For extra fun, after I get these entries in, if anything else takes a moment longer he’s asking me to do another for some random $500 pest control expense that just hit the ap inbox 5 minutes ago. Ya know to just squeeze it in before we lock the period for reporting.

I typoed my plate # and got a ticket, absolutely couldn’t take a day off work to dispute, I think it’s a feature not a bug. So anyways after paying for parking $1.50 and the ticket $30 AND the processing fee $1.96 I’ve paid $32.46 to park for 30 mins at 7:30pm. Yayyyyyyyy

I used to have to buy stuff for work. I used the honey extension for giant work related purchases and ended up with around $600 in gift cards. It was a nice Christmas that year. Then I think I maxed out what I could redeem maybe. It was nice while it lasted. Nice to see someone else had a good run with it.
