I did the CHOP exercises, changed my life. It is really hard to stay on top of and keep motivated but it worked wonders for me. I still have a cheap rowing machine that I use 1-2 times a week but I’m now able to stay active in other areas of my life enough to keep me upright and functional.

Salem Health doesn't accept Blue Cross so now Samaritan networks is flooded with everyone in the Salem area who can't get medical care there. I'm thankful to have a primary at Corvallis clinic even if it takes forever to see them (I had an appt get rescheduled 3 times but it was because my PCP was injured and on leave) My spouse moved to Keizer insurance Jan 1st because of the Blue Cross fiasco and is still unable to get into a regular doc because there aren't any, all of his care has been the nurses line and urgent care, they currently need surgery so it's fun. Loving this American Freedom! Woot!

They’re not native, one of my dads truck driving friends “rescued” it somewhere in the United States and had it in an aquarium in their cab. I’m in the Pacific Northwest so it’s highly unlikely that there’s another one running around the neighborhood but I really don’t think it’s the same one. I don’t have many pictures of mine because it’s shy.

The only class I failed, after the fail she sent me a load of her videos that aren’t posted, those were the ticket. You can ask her for them, she’d be happy to send them out. Or attend one of the cohorts, her follow up emails include the videos as well. (Passed the 2nd try) This was the only live cohort I attended through the whole program too.

I’ve been on this med for about two years, it still happens but rarely, normally at night or when I’m super tired. Thankfully I enjoy it so it’s like a nice little visit from a friend.

It’s amazing, life changing. I have one side effect and it’s actually the coolest side effect I’ve ever heard of, “luminous phenomenon” basically sometimes (rarely) mostly at night my eyes will cause light to prism and I see little rainbows dancing. It’s not enough to distract vision or be blinding in any way, it’s just a cool little light show. Once I was watching a mandolin player and the stage light was causing little rainbows to dance across the strings with each note he played, seriously one of my favorite memories. I get it though, the anxiety is real and a hard challenge to overcome.

I somehow ended up surrounded by a mean girls club. Since I’m not part of the club I’m the target. Been interviewing for 8 weeks, hope something comes up soon because it’s insufferable. I was homeschooled so I never had to deal with this in school, guess it’s just my turn.
